Water is very hot and also cold. I really like that it has buttons to turn off and on the water on both temps. It's makes little to no noise. Looks nice. The handles on the side make it easy to move if you need to. And it's seems pretty durable. I've had it for a few months now and it's going strong. The hot water is very easy to use. Just puch the button and press the cup I ot the dispenser and release the button, you don't have to keep pressing the button which makes it very accessible to use. It handles my 5 gal water jug well.

I absolutely love this product. I don't drink a lot of water, let alone room-temp water so this was a life changer for me. I went from the Brita filter pitchers (amongst other filter pitcher brands) to buying bottled water but none of it has been this easy. It doesn't take up room in your refrigerator to chill your water and it does it all in the machine. Having this dispenser has really helped me hydrate way more and has been by far the most convenient. I rotate 3-3 gallon jugs at home and it lasts me quite a while to 1. Refill my jugs and 2. to change out the jugs from the machine. I also love the readily available hot water. I am a tea drinker so I can always just walk up with my tea cup and dispense hot water and my tea is ready within seconds! I don't have to wait to boil water stovetop or in the electric kettle. I have already recommended this to a friend who always buys bottled water. This saves on the plastic waste and also on time. I did come across one issue after about 4 months of use. The cooling feature had stopped working. I contacted Avalon and their customer service rep was superb. I followed the recommended steps in the email and voila! My machine started working its wonders again.

I really like these stickers so table too hot and cold water cooler. This one is the second one I’ve bought- the first started making g funny noises after three years or so. I love having hot and cold water available at all times. I bought these stickers so three gallon water jugs as the five gallon ones are too big for me to comfortably handle. I also bought a special cap to put on the top of my water bottle. It has a 1/2-3-4 inch hole in the top to make putting the water bottle on the top of the dispenser easier and without spilling a lot of water. I recommend you buy it along with the cooler.

I really figured when the 1st machine leaked in less then 1 month it was a fluke given the stellar reviews these have. I contacted customer support at Avalon. They were friendly, and helpful. They had me check the blue stopper plug was still in place to plug the drain valve in the back. It was intact. They they had me remove the 2 rear upper screws to remove the entire upper trim piece under where the water bottle sits to check the internal seal. The seal was intact.....yet it still leaked all over the counter. Soaked two new cooking books on the counter .....and almost got the ipad soaked. luckily the ipad has an otterbox case which saved it from getting sitting low enough to take in water! I figured surely I got a dud and should try again. Decided to try the black cooler vs the white one this time(all coolers matter). Would you believe in less then 2 weeks water all over the counter again?!?!?! Luckily I learned from last time, and the books & Ipad where not on the counter this time. Apparently the internal seal they had me checking can come out of place when you change the water jugs. I was aware of this from last time so I was super careful installing the new water jug which also only had 1 gallon of water in it. I was too scared after the 1st machine so I only had 1 gallon inside a 2 gallon water jug......sure glad i did that or i would have had 2 gallons all over the counter again like last time. 1st machine leaked from the bottom. 2nd machine leaked from the top. its ridiculous that inner seal is that sensitive. I'm not a frail or weak person. I sat that 1 gallon of water so gingerly onto the machine if that still knocks that seal off these machines are useless for the intended purpose. Its also ridiculous to remove that upper trim plate every bottle change to verify the inner seal is intact. The water level has to be very low inside the machine to do this. You would have to drain the machine each time to check this each bottle change. Pros: Machines look great, and fit great on the counter top as i wanted. Customer service was very friendly, and helped me to check a few things before having to send the machine back. Cons: 2 failed leaking machines both under 1 month old.

Bought this initially for about eighty bucks. It worked very well for about 28 days of usage. On the 29th day, i woke up to a floor filled with dripping water. I looked down at a corner and noticed where the leak was coming from. It was through the grill vents, and i did not bother attempting to take it apart to see if it can be fixed. Reached out to Amazon, got a replacement unit. Shipped the old one back. Onto the replacement unit, worked well again for about 4 straight months. This morning, I woke up to the floor absolutely filled with water again. I removed the 3 gallon jug and cleaned the mess up, upon tilting the unit just slightly to drain the water into my sink, the whole unit was gushing out with water from the reservoir. This is a minor tilt about 10 degrees. No idea what these reservoirs are made out of but whatever it is, it does NOT seem to last. Going to contact manufacturer to see if they will warranty the unit. At this point, i should have continued spending my money buying bottle water, than to try to save a few bucks filling up water at a local spring refiilling station. I'm out 80$ and there's telling if customer service will even fix this piece of junk. Stay away from this brand. Will update after speaking to customer service. ***6/28/2019 Update I am updating this review because I wanted to give some feedback on this issue. I reached out to customer support and got in touch with Jill R. @ Avalon. She was very helpful and attempted a resolution. We went through the troubleshooting, the typical reseating the top ring, and re-seating center stack, and using a brand new 3 gallon bottle. Made no difference. Also a YouTube video from Avalon shows some units have a silicone seal. This product does not have it. The top seal is controlled by 4 twist clips. The problem i believe has to do with over time and loading 3/5 gallon bottles, the seal gets weakened. Not sure if this is an engineering problem but when gravity pulls the water down, those 4 twist clips will eventually let loose and unclip itself. Since there is no rubber or silicone seal/gasket, and when you get close to 1/3 of a water bottle, gravity wins over the O-ring gaps. Anyways, my experience with customer service was fantastic. I have already replaced two of these units with Amazon customer service. Avalon Support also replaced this. 5 Star for Avalon Customer Service. 3 Star for Product. Not 100% sure if this new unit will last either without leaking. But i have a 2x3 sqf wood floor that is pretty much ruined. That is not the fault of the water bottle, and i cant blame the product either. Could be bad luck, it could be because while feeding the 3/5 gallon bottles, the top O-ring got untwisted, loose over time. I highly recommend following up with customer service. They did the right thing and was very professional. Better yet, they speak english and support their product.4 **7/15/2019** Customer Service/Jill R. was able to work out a permanent resolution with me due to the fact that i now have a 2x3 sqft ruined floors. Jill R, offered a replacement to a bottom loading unit Avalon A6. I had to pay return shipping on the new replacement unit they sent me. This was a fair compromise as they paid for the last return shipping in exchange for a new bottom loading unit. 5 Star for Customer Service. 3 Star for top loading product. Besides the top seal and leaking unit, i found the hot/cold function to work very well. I just don't know if i will ever take a chance at a top loading unit again. If you have a kitchen with tile floors, i would recommend it as bottom loading units are much more expensive. I can't speak to the durability of the unit but i hope this bottom loading unit will last at least several years. My neighbors have a Primo and Whirlpool unit that has lasted almost a decade. Will update once I receive a new Avalon A6 unit.

Awesome! I also have a primo. The hot is just as hot as the primo but its not instant like the primo is. It seems to hold about maybe 1/3 of a gallon more water too as the primo standing model. The cold is colder than the primo!! Its loud like a fridge too, which i like cause you know its working. If it leaks like others claim in old reviews i will angrily update for sure but the hot is just as hot but not instant like the primo. The cold is colder than a primo and it holds more water.. get it ane be happy cause theres a lot of crappy ones out there but this one is winner, winner, chicken dinner.

Easy set up! Hot and cold water work great! Was a no brainer to buy honestly. I had bought the bottom feeding one a few earlier for my parents and decided to get the counter one for myself, honestly should’ve gotten it way sooner. Perfect for 5 gallon, no noise, and I know this is going to last me a few years minimum.

Very cold very hot, I have it in my room and it’s not as loud as people exaggerate. The noise also does stop after the heating and cooling is done, so you also do have full quiet time at times as well. You can lightly hear it turn on and it’s nice to know it has that noise like a fridge keeping the water crisp and cold. I filled up a 36oz bottle and it’s super cold everytime for the gym!

it's a little more expensive than I would have liked but it's well worth the money. like others have said there's a small noise if the cooling/heating is on but it's not noticeable unless you're right next to it.

We purchased this last September so just over a year ago. It worked very well for both hot and cold water. Just last week it died for no apparent reason. We contacted the manufacturer who informed us that because our warrantee expired (just expired), we would have to purchase a new unit. They offered a 25% discount off their list price which would be about equivalent to the black friday prices currently. Not even an option for repair. So, while it worked it was good but it died just after the warrantee expired and we were not really hoping to be in the disposable water dispenser market. Not feeling greatt about repurchasing when a company doesn't stand behind their own product.

The water is very good and it keeps a good hot and cold temperature. What I like is that the interior tanks are stainless steel. Make a big difference compare to the cheep plastic ones.
