Purchased my first pair of these w/ the base station last year and was impressed enough that I bought more to add to the system. Battery life for me has been great, but monitoring an area with a lot of motion will decrease that a bit. I was also impressed with the wireless range between the cameras and the base station. I didn't test the max claimed range, but I got a great signal mounting ~100 ft on either side of the base station Only thing that might need a little improvement is the playback feature on the app (android for me). It is very difficult to see where video is recorded on the timeline and then jump to a different time to see action in that timeframe (eg afternoon recordings). Overall though it's a minor set back to the convenience of locating/mounting that this product allows.Also want to give kudos to the customer service (Ariel in my case). I had one mounting bracket with a cross-threaded thumb screw that prevented tightening the camera to the bracket. Ariel went out of her way to ensure that I was well taken care of.

This is a great security camera for outdoor that does not require any wires including cable to power the camera. This is truly wireless and cordless security camera that can be mounted without having to worry about drilling hole or running cables like most other security camera. It has crazy rechargeable battery life that doesn't need to be charged for several months. I know this because this is the 2nd time I have purchased this amazing camera.This camera has very intuitive app for the smart phone that sends you notification whenever movement is detected. I can watch the recorded video or live stream using the app and take pictures or record video. It has great 2K resolution night vision camera and amazing quality color video during the day. I mounted this camera outside near the tree to monitor a bird house as well as inside my shed to monitor mouse traps so I don't have to physically go to my shed every day to see if there's any catch.It's very easy to setup and configure as the base station needs to be connected to the WiFi then the 2 cameras can talk to the base station. All the recordings are stored in the microSD card in the base station or you have option to purchase the cloud video storage service. It's truly amazing camera kit that works well and I only wish that it came with a microSD card so it's ready to be used immediately out of the box. It's awesome that I can easily move the camera to mount anywhere that's within the distance from the base station to monitor anything I want. It has many configuration options to change the setting, sensitivity and human detection, etc. More than anything, 270 day battery life is just out of this world. Highly recommend it.

These cameras are nice. I have indoor laview cameras and I liked them so much I thought I would give them a try. I like the idea of the base incase they get stolen. But with the tamper proof alarm it would be crazy for someone to touch them. I have already set it off on accident when moving them and its loud. We set these outside to watch some new kittens in our back yard. The picture quality is great even at night. It has wide dynamic range option that helps with different lighting. But day or night I could see clear. The motion detection did not pick up animals when the human body filter is on which is nice so im not annoyed by notifications. The laview indoor cameras all have ONVIF function but these outdoor ones do not. Which is understandable since it would drain the battery. I just wish we had that option since you can easily buy a solar charger for these. I have had them out for about 4 weeks and one is at 100% the other is at 80% only because we kept watching for the kitties. So I am happy with the battery life so far. The range on the base says 300ft but that will be effected by walls and other things. So keep that in mind. All in all a great camera for the price.

The picture quality is okay when you zoom in to somebody's face it's all blurred, and it doesn't always pick up movement that it should I also have the love you inside cameras pointing outside and for some reason with the SD card they are able to record Non-Stop but these ones only record 20 seconds 40 seconds or 1 minute at a time even with the SD card wish there was a way to record Non-Stop with these only thing I'm really disappointed in.

I bought the cameras to keep an eye on my mom who has health problems. Cameras and their apps are very new to me - had no previous experience with them. I received a message from LaView through Amazon before I had the time to set them up, and then again later after they were set up and I created an account. I did have some questions for them, and they responded very quickly and answered everything I needed to know. The picture quality is great and they are working fine. Night vision is black and white, but still clear enough to see what is going on. Highly recommend these cameras and LaView.

Have had for a few months and work great! Love the quality and easy to set up. Much cheaper than other brands but the quality is just as great.

Amazing battery life and clear pictures day or night. I love that I can even talk through the camera from my phone.

the 300 feet is not true with mine but could be my home has 2x6 walls
