Genuine Victor Torch Kit Cutting Set, CA270-V, WH270FC-V, 1-3-101 Tip, 20' Hose

I knew the torch would be smaller than my antique 300 torch, so that wasn't a concern. It's great that it will take the same tips as the 300. I started out just trying it on some 1/2" scrap. Even with the 0 tip it did a passable job. I got a 1 tip later and it was excellent. I also cut up an old 2" truck axle with a 3 tip and it did just fine. The thing I really like about the ergo handle is how much easier it is to manipulate it when welding with a small tip. The flat sides make it easy to keep it oriented between the thumb and fingers, not like a round torch handle that slips on me sometimes. In a product line that should have been mature years ago, Victor seems to keep coming back with great quality improved stuff.

This is a very handy size for the home improvement, DIY type. It would work on light materials for an expert...but I'm sure they don't want to switch back and forth all the time.The torch was easy to setup. The valves adjustments hold and are easy to set. I get a really nice flame. I like the built-in safety features.Looks like a great addition to the workshop!!!

I use on my ranch for repairs . It is not used on a daily basis, maybe 2-3 hours per month. disappointed in failure in such a short time

Ordered this to replace a 50 year old torch handle. Works nice, valves all seal good and don't leak. Was quite disappointed when I found the brand new tip in the set looking like this ( see pic). Would recommend, but only if you order extra tips at the same time

Just received the torch / kit today. Was all well packaged and assembly was as easy as it should be. The grip handle was a nice touch and everything seems to have the correct weight and sturdiness to it. Have not used it for anything major yet but everything seems to be working fine.

Nice torch. Didn't pay attention as it doesn't come with regulator and gauges. Price doubles wit needed parts. MY bad
