I was hoping to use this for my 20lb & 32lb dog.The exterior material used is very high quality and sturdy. While great and makes me feel like it can handle the weight of one of my dogs, it makes carrying a 32lb beagle mix REALLY heavy.The interior material scratches very easily but as long as it doesn't break through, no big deal. It has a tether that attaches to their collar.There are so many mesh areas, that will give them lots of fresh air. I am concerned about the strength of the mesh to keep my rowdy 20lb chi-mix in.There is an additional mini bag, but I'm not sure if I will use it or not.The bag is tall and narrow; unless the dog is shorter and on the slimmer side, it might be very confining for them. Both my dogs didn't like it, but that has nothing to do with the bag itself, they just didn't like being in it. My neighbor has 2 smaller dogs that are getting older and fit perfectly (separately, not together), they are calm and don't mind being in there at all.Being able to enter from either the top or side is HUGE and so much easier to get the pups in.

So I have three little kids and I have two cats on the dog. So I find it very difficult to get all of us to the vet office. So the other day when I went I used this for the first time and it was amazing. I was able to put the cats on my back and have the little kids hold my hand and we were able to walk and get into the building with no issues The vet even made a comment and it asked where I got it from because he said it was really nice the netting part of it that you can see through and they can get air through is not cloth it's like a silicone rubber. Which is really nice and the vet even said he really liked that part of it because the cat won't get stuck on it and if they do they're not going to like rip it or anything. It's got good breathing stuff and it actually felt really comfortable on my back and I was able to carry the cat in there with no problems. You can get the cat out either via the side or the top and zips on both sides and then there's the extra pouches if you need to bring anything along with. This is a really nice travel bag for the pet. I approve and my vet even approved

It's stable when wearing. The large mesh area I think would be "appreciated" by pets. Well built. Pic is of our large overweight cat in the carrier.

so first off, only 2 sides open, not 3, the third just has a flap that shows the mesh, you. cannot actually unzip it. second, the flap that you remove, has nowhere to rollup to because of the poor design, you cannot actually roll it up, you just attach it to the velcro strip at the top, but the flap hangs down. Thirdly, I got this because I was so excited about the seatbelt straps. Here's the problem though, they're not adjustable so they don't fit regular American seatbelt widths. and lastly, the bag does not hold its shape without a pet in it, so I have low hopes for it not sagging with a pet in it, since it sags without one even though the cardboard base is in place, which also is not very sturdy, mine came bowed already. I gave this bag 2 stars instead of 1 because it is quite big and maybe actually will fit my 15 lb cat in it, he's very long, but he cannot lay down in it. but overall definitely not worth the price because it has some serious design flaws, just go with a metal or plastic crate if you want the durability and ability to hold your pet in it.....
