Heat Mat
Well I kept this but here is my opinion:ProsGood length & widthNicely madeCons (for seedling starting)Way too hot for seedling sat directly on matI was getting 95 degrees with tray on matI had to elevate the trays on my glass Pyrex 13x9 casserole dishes. Once I did this I’m getting 75-80 degrees with a humidity dome.I’m going to put the heat mat in my greenhouse and use for heat when temps drop below 50. Wish it would attach to a thermostat. I would not buy another one.Update: After having this one season, I bought a thermostat and now this heat may works perfectly. I whisk but another if I needed it.

I worked for a little bit, now it is a very costly place mat.
Worked for roughly 2 hours, then went cold, never to heat again. Too bad that I did not get to it prior to the "return" date fell off 10 days after delivery as my seedling date was Jan 30th. Lesson learned, check if things work as soon as received. I WILL not buy another one as, at 50 bucks a pop the risk is not worth it.

Runs hot for seedlings
At first I was dissatisfied because it cooked the first tray of seedlings I set on it. Then I figured out that one may was sufficient to heat my whole 10’x4’ low tunnel coldframe. I used it continuously march-May and it worked perfectly.

Best mat by far I've ever had
This thing gets cooking so vent your domes. I almost feel as though this is more for a green house style/on your window sill kinda germination. My grow area is enclosed so it holds heat really well. Keep a better eye on stuff if you have the same

Better solution than those single flat heaters!
This was the perfect solution and replacement for a single flat heater. I was able to heat 4 flats with this version (96") since the width of the roll is approximately 10". It maintain heat consistently and I had pepper seeds sprout within 1 week compared 2+ weeks with other heating pads/mats. Highly recommended!

Very sturdy and economical
These RHS heat mats are very sturdy and waterproof, and easy to roll up and store once the seedling don't need them any more. I use with a temperature sensor so I can adjust according to the plants I am growing.

Excellent warmer.
Love this warmer. My seeds have jumped out at least two weeks earlier than I expected.Get a temp controller and you’ll have all that you need.
