Replacement Belt Set for Bissell Proheat DeepClean Essential Carpet Cleaner 1887, 8852, 9585 Series, Replace Parts 1601542 and 1601543

My carpet cleaner (BISSELL Proheat Essential Carpet Cleaner and Carpet Shampooer 1887) wasn't sucking up the water the last two times I tried to use it. Or would do weird things like only work if it was upright vs rolling. I took it apart and noticed the "smooth" belt had a slight crack in it.Ordered this part, it fit perfectly, reassembled, and so far so good! My carpet cleaner sucks and that's good! I tried to keyword this review for others. It works for the Bissell 1887. Even if your belt hasn't snapped, if it's cracked or stretched you're gonna have weird performance issues.

They fit perfectly. Just remove the screws and replace the belts. Don't forget to clean all the parts as you finish up. Cleaner works like new now.

Easy to install, and very affordable for both items.

The rubber was snug out of the bag, so I soaked them in hot water for twenty minutes until they were more pliable. I udried them off and they slipped right on around the shafts.Voila! Carpet cleaner is back in action!We will see how long they last. OEM lasted one year.

Fit great for my washer

So after using my equipment for 6 years one belt broke and was replaced by ordering through amazon. Next thing I know, the other belt breaks, so I decided to buy this 2 pack to have a back up.

Fits well and seems about the same as original but definitely not long lasting. Checked the roller assembly and other items to see if it was dragging but everything seems fine. The cogged belt seems fine the flat felt isn't ok. Belt is cracked in multiple spots after only being used 6 or 7 rooms over 6 months.
