Fake finish peels easily. Still great table.
First, let me just say that it is a great table for the money. It is sturdy and the lift feature is awesome.The reason I gave 4 stars is because whatever they "painted on" to look like real wood is peeling off and leaving white spots all over the surface.I knew it wasn't real wood but this seems very cheap and they do not offer a matching color / repair kit either.I shouldn't have to be disappointed a week after getting it because I slid a bowl across the surface and took the wood finish with me.

I almost returned.
When I got the package, I could not open it and the product was so heavy and large I was going to return..the next day, being stronger and in better mood, I decided to open and it was very attractive! Less heavy (altho probably weighs more than the 30# described) and out of the box, not too long. 2 sets of screws were pulled out but after wood filler and repair...it's fixed and in my RV. Remember, this is an inexpensive table..we get what we pay for, but all in all good buy for the serviceability of the coffee table/ dinner table/ computer work station.

Love this table!
Table was deeper than I expected, and the lift feature is great to work or eat on the couch! We can fit a ton of stuff in there, and it's perfect for hiding remotes, computers, board games, books, laptops, and other valuable items from our new teething puppy

Such a useful coffee table
I live in a studio apartment so this coffee table doubles as my eating place and my desk when lifted. I really appreciate the extra storage as well it's a large space. My only complaint would be how easily the top scratches. I've had it for a year so I guess this is to be expected though.

It is perfect for the RV
It provides a good working space with storage and not too heavy. The top is a flimsy paper adhesive that I accidentally scratched but the fix is this, perfect color to match and much thicker. So beautiful and sturdy
So beautiful and sturdy. It was easy to put together, and it's very functional. We use the lift top function every day to eat meals. I keep some pet toys, clickers, and cables in inside. I did have to buy pads to stick under each leg, because one was dragging on the "wood" linoleum and scratched it up quite a bit. If you get this you may want to be sure you have pads to put on the legs before you put it together. The color is beautiful and has less red tone than the photo makes it look. I added a photo that's edited to remove some of the red, and the color looks more like that.

Don’t scratch it, and not a keeper
Easy to assemble and the lift-top is stable and great for eating/working on. Can store quite a lot of things and keep clutter at bay. It’s super heavy and scratches reveal a bright white surface underneath. Careful not to scratch it! Definitely not a piece you would keep for a long time. We’ll replace it once we find something we love!
