Very nice replacement subwoofer
I have an MTX amplified bass tube in which I blew the original speaker. This one fit perfectly into the enclosure and once broken in and tuned, makes great bass for my application. Highly recommended replacement woofer for lower powered systems or oem dealer subs.

High expectations
I am running all Polk speakers so I wanted a matching sub to go along with it. This unit is perfect. I have not yet installed but I have high expectations that this unit will perform as well as all previous Polk products I have used...Only issue.... Made in China!!!!!!!!! This is getting ridiculous and stating on the unit "Designed and engineered in US" means nothing. Come on Polk, you can do better than this. I would have paid more for made in the U.S.Bring back the C4 subwoofer and I would buy one (if you made it here!Update 10/8/22Finally got all the interior replaced in truck with new stereo system & wiring installed. This sub absolutely pounds!Current set up is Kenwood Excelon KDC-X705 deck, Kenwood amps (KAC-PS704EX 4/3/2 channel running front Polk 6.5" coaxials on A channel and this sub bridged on B channel. KAC-PS702EX 2 channel running Polk 6"x9" 3 ways. All speakers mounted to doors). Sub is mounted in a sealed enclosure behind the seat (where the fuel tank was installed from factory) that incorporates the amp rack. This is all installed in a very well insulated '65 Chevy truck. Even in a bigger vehicle I would not hesitate to recommend this sub to a properly wired and powered system. The clarity and tight bass is just right for my application and makes a huge difference in the overall sound quality; especially in such a small space.

Baby Boom Boom!
You know, I am getting quite fed up with sellers not including all hardware necessary to use the product. For example, screws without a Philips head impression. Instead, they are including screws that require an Allen wrench, and not the standard size either. Do they include the actual Allen wrench? No! These tools are inexpensive, and they cannot include them????I thought it'd never get here. Thanksgiving has just past, and apparently things get backed up the following day. The subwoofer appeared well packaged in an amazon box. The OEM box, Mint! Everything was in tact.In addition, I found a grill that the screw hole placement is an exact match to the screw holes on the subwoofer. I don't have to worry about the box/ enclosure matching up. I purchased a new one and I make my own mounting holes. That was one less headache to face.I have provided pictures and the subwoofer specs. Saves time from bouncing back and forth from Manufacture to amazon, and vise versa.Once the box/ enclosure arrives on December 2nd, I will put it together, connect the wires and give Baby Boom Boom a few frequency tests I will report my findings.Happy Holiday amazonee's! :-)

WOW! Can be a great drop-in OEM replacement subwoofer!
Purchased this sub to replace the factory subwoofer in my 2009 Honda Civic Sedan with the premium Audio System, and WOW, it has great bass, the 30hz frequency response is definitely mostly accurate. The deep sub-bass that I look forward to hearing from good, dedicated subwoofers is definitely there, and a huge upgrade compared to the OEM sub, all while not even receiving the 250 watts RMS that it is rated to handle! Not the cheapest option in this segment, but definitely not one you will be disappointed with.

Good sub woofer
The new Sub woofer is excellent. It sounds better than the original.

2001 Suburban- Does Not Fit
This is supposed to be a shallow 8" Subwoofer however it is not shallow enough to fit in the factory housing for a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban. Tahoes have a deeper box so it will likely fit. I really like Polk Audio products but I really need a plug and play.
