Will this fit the K-Bar combat cane?

This depends on the diameter of the Ka-bar cane. Some of the canes I looked at are 0.9 inch diameter. The Ka-bar was 1 inch. It is a bit of a snug fit to get it on the other canes. It's easier to do with a bit of WD-40 or light oil on the cane (metal canes, and very slight amount needed.) Not sure if it will go on your cane.

Can you use WD40 to put it in the cane?

I used 2 of them on J shape cane handles.. To get it on handles, use dish soap on handle and put a small amount in foam handle (holding linger on one end and shake and it will coat inside of handle replacement. That will make it slide on easily (small amount of soap is enough) onto the cane handle. When it is place, squeeze out any excess. Let it dry for a couple of hours. Am 83 and it was easy. Good luck.

Grip moves after installing?

The grip was easy to install. In my particular case, the grip has never moved after installation. It was for my son who is about 6 ft 2 inches and weighs 180 pounds.
