AILA 'I'm Naked! I'm Naked!'

I was looking for a light, non-toxic polish for a clean natural look. I selected Ms. Martin, and the shade is lovely- its almost clear with one coat, and a very pale sheer pink with two coats.Pros: lovely color, non-toxic, cool packaging, and I love their Soy Nail Polish remover -its the best! (they included some samples with this purchase, and its the best polish remover I've tried, as well as being beneficial to the skin and nails and no nasty odor - win! Thank you for the free samples AILA!)Cons: I am a minimalist, so I qualify this critique by saying I didn't use a primer undercoat, nor a clear protective overcoat. (I just don't want to use three different products/layers just to have a clear/pink, clean look on my nails). That being said I may not be using all the recommended layers, this nail polish just chips and wear off too easily for me. Whether one or two coats, it looks bad after 2 days with the edges ragged near my cuticles and tips with general wear. After 4 days I just have to take it off it looks so bad. So maybe for special one day occassions or with additional products this would work, but not for my lifestyle. Any suggestions AILA? I love your polish remover, but not the polish.

I had high hopes for this polish, but it was not good at all. The color was lovely, but the polish was thick and chipped the within an hour of getting a manicure. The following day almost all of my nails were chipped. What a waste of $14.

the polish is not good at all. i get manicure weekly and have used various products that use less of the harmful chemicals. sadly this polish is useless. it is streaky and doesn't cover evenly.

Not as great as the top coat. I would not buy it again. It looked like shattered glass on the 2nd day.

AILA is hands down my favorite natural nail polish. ‘The New Black’ is the perfect color for any season! I almost always have this color on! To maximize your manicure when doing it yourself, apply one coat of polish, a clear top coat then repeat those steps again.This lasted a full week with very minimal chipping!

Amazing nail polish. Less toxic than traditional nail polish brands and it lasts soooo long. This picture is day 8 of my manicure. I did use it with the aila top coat as well. Love it! Can’t wait to try other colors and feel good about the products I’m using on my body.

Better than expected! Bright red color, went on nicely and lasts for 3 weeks on my feet with no chips (base coat, two layers of paint, and top coat).

I am obsessed with Aila products!
