The holes lined up perfectly and it only took 2 min to install. The only problem is the cord is a little shorter then the oem model and make a noise as if you were trying to start it when already mowing the lawn.

My 5 year old Honda mower needed a new pull line, which broke. I looked into just replacing the line, but after watching Youtube videos, it seemed a bit challenging for me. So I looked into replacing the entire mechanism. So for an additional $12 (over the cost of string only) you can get the entire mechanism with the pull line already installed at the factory. Took about 3 minutes to install, only need to unscrew the old piece and screw on the new. Works fine on my mower, and fit perfectly. Fits a large number of Honda models, so just make sure your Model # is listed.

Item did not fit as the mounting holes in this part are 1/4 inch. The mounting studs on the mower assembly have a non removable sleeve making them 7/16 inches. I carefully drilled out the three mounting holes and the replacement item fit perfectly.

Easy to replace and install. Started on first pull.

Starts better then my original Honda pull chord. Perfect fit.

This recoil starter is advertised as being made out of steel. Its is plastic. Also the holes for fastening to the mower cover are too small. I had to ream them out in order to fit over the bushings of the engine cover bolts. I would have returned but I needed to finish the repair now so I could not wait for anything else.

Pull starter on my pressure washer failed. Spent a significant amount of time trying to repair it and instead just replaced it with this unit! Super easy job. Holes didnt line up exactly but it still worked and was on and running within 10 mins.

Somewhat light weight, but that does not matter much for it's intended purpose. I had to slightly drill out the holes just like other have said ( a 2 minute job ). Fits perfect now and starts the engine.

Used on a honda pump motor. Worked like it should

This recoil works well on my Honda lawn mower , however we had to slightly enlarge the mounting holes for it to fit flush on the mower engine cover ...

Nothing to dislike it fitted and problem solved. Customer was happy also.
