I was hesitant to get it because we don't like clutter in our smaller house, but it's very well made and not something that makes your house look like a playplace at McDonalds. Our son loves to play in it for short periods of time. The dog pillow is really nice and keeps him propped up well, which is nice due to his acid reflux. He loves to follow the lights, and the sounds make him kick and move. Like that we can turn off the lights and/or sounds with just push of the button, and that it came with batteries ready to go.

This play gym exceeded my expectations beyond belief! I was so impressed at how fast my baby took to the lights, music, and patterns of this toy. She LOVES this thing. It was super easy to set up. It came with batteries already installed, which to me, is a great added surprise. It isn't hard to fold up and store, just a bit tedious to unhook/hook the arches to the bottom of the mat. BUT, that is a minor detail that shouldn't keep anyone from buying this for their baby. I chose this mat over others because of the gender neutral colors/prints, and the fact that it pretty much blends into the rest of the home decor. It isn't this giant hot pink and lime green jungle mess that sticks out like a sore thumb. So, for my baby girl to immediately be drawn to this mat was an awesome reassurance that I didn't overspend or choose my own visual preference over her entertainment. Best of bost worlds! The music is a nice combo between upbeat and mellodic tunes. The volume is perfect. The lights aren't too bright, but certainly catch my daughter's attention. PLus, you can choose to use only music or lights at a time if you only want one stimulation at a time. The light, sound, and power buttons are all located on the outside/top of one of the arches, and are easy to access. The battery pack tucks into a little velcro pouch at the bottom of the arch; completely out of baby's grasp. The toys included are great, and offer a lot for baby's senses; crinkle toy, squeaker toy, mirror toy, and chime toy, plus a pillow that works for tummy time or relaxing. There are also extra places to hook more toys on the arches if you have toys your baby already loves to play with. There are hooks on the actual play mat as well for tummy time. Overall, this play gym mat is a wonderful addition to our home for both me and hubby, as well as both my daughters. I would 100% reccommend this product!

Our little girl has been hard to please in the toy department. She is very overwhelmed by the nutty looking and loud toys that seem to dominate the toy market. At first glance this looks kind of crazy but in person it’s actually very subdued. It’s black and white w splashes of fun colors. The toys can be hung at dif heights. We love that the lights can play w or without music. It also has the option of running the lights w no sound too...awesome for us since she’s not always interested in noise. We do the lights sparingly, which she loves, but even the hanging toys have been a hit. It also doesn’t look awefuk in our modern space. We LOVE this gym! If it doesn’t make it to baby #2 we will most def buy it again.

Skip Hop never disappoints! My 2 month old hates tummy time but this helps distract him! He loves the hot air balloon mirror and I love that the blue dog that doubles as a pillow! Even my cat sneaks in to jump on the crinkley center!

Pretty disappointed that this started malfunctioning and now doesn't work at all after a few months of usage with an infant. On the first day as I attached one of the toys, one of the loops they clip on completely ripped off, one of the poles ripped through the fabric rendering the mat useless until I sewed that side up, batteries seem to never last more than a few days, and now the sound and lights don't work at all. It is such a cute design and my baby loved the lights and music while they lasted, but for the price I paid for this and the quality it seems to be is super disappointing.

I would give this 5 stars, and I do actually for quality and function. But it arrived used when I bought new...I wasn’t told I’d be receiving a used play gym. It wasn’t damaged and came with all the parts; but wasn’t packaged correctly and somehow had batteries when the box clearly says “not included” lol.As for the play gym itself, my 5 week old LOVES the lights. He usually can’t be put down unless he’s sleeping...he doesn’t like to be still for too long. This had him turning his head back and forth looking at all this toy has to offer. I’m excited to see how much he loves it when he can actually grab at toys etc.

I bought this for my 1 month old grandson in January. It’s March, and the parts for the hanging toys have already broken & frayed. For $85, I expected better craftsmanship than the cheaply sewn material. They definitely wouldn’t have lasted once he started grasping the toys. Obviously, not much thought for pulling on the toys was given by the manufacturer. Save your money...or buy something else. Thank goodness Amazon has the best return/replace policy.

I can’t decide who loves this mat more - me or the baby!! I love the colours and the designs, the lights are fab and the music isn’t too annoying either! My 2month old daughter loves the lights and the detachable toys - she always smiles and wriggles as soon as I put her on the mat! Really really pleased with it!

Love, love this play mat. I bought it because we have a sausage dog and couldnt resist it for the new baby! I can confirm he also loves it and really enjoys the monochrome pattern. Worth the money!

Really lovely, love the colours and design of it. Baby girl loves following the lights. It probably isn’t worth £90, but its definitely nicer to look at than a lot of the other play gyms.

Our first born loves his Mat. He loves the lights and all the little bits we attach the the frame. Hours of easy stimulation for our lad :) happy customer!
