When I got them I took them out of the box, I wasn't sure of the material at first because it didn't feel very pliable but I put them in the sun for 30 minutes and they got a lot softer which made them easier to install. My only concern is how they are when it rains or in the winter, are they going to be slippery? I will have to update this review when the time comes. They look amazing in my Jeep. Update- I've had these in my car for a couple months now and yes they are very slippery when entering or exiting the vehicle with wet shoes.
