Excellent for drawing and colouring ...
Lately I have been doing a lot of art therapy type of colouring ... I find it relaxing and therapeutic especially when I am feeling stressed or sad. The only problem is with this form of relaxation is that you get through a lot of colouring pens and pencils. So when I had the chance to review these fibre tip pens from Stabilo I jumped at the chance. There are twelve felt tip pens in all in this set, in an selection of colours including:the* Black* Grey* Mid blue* Light blue* Green* Light green* Yellow* Orange* Dark red* Bright red* Pink* PurpleThese felt tip pens are washable and non toxic (which is great if you want to let your kids colour with them) they colour beautifully and the colours are a good representation of the colours shown on the barrels of the pens. These are special brush tipped pens which have flexible nibs so colouring a large area is not really a problem, they are also superb for outlining or for doing some of the clever shading techniques that are often used in art therapy colouring. A great feature is that these pens dry almost instantly so there is no smudging of your work. These pens are of a standard length (20cm) and the barrels are six sided which help with grip.I really like the fact that you can actually put the lid onto the bottom of the pen when colouring, so no lost lids.I have used these felt tipped pens for a few weeks now and they seem to be lasting well with none of them running out of ink ... so far.

Not a premium look but work well in practice!
I got these for my artistic teenage nephew but I first tried them out to see what I thought. They arrive in a recyclable cardboard box/sleeve; mine was quite battered. However, the contents was fine: 12 Pen 68 brush fibre tip pens in black, grey, light blue, dark blue, light green, dark green, pale orange, dark red, yellow, red, pink/purple and purple. The fibre tip pens are very slim and both comfortable and easy to hold. They have strips done the barrow in the colour of the pen (and the cap is also the colour of the pen). They don't particularly look premium or worth £21.60 (at time of review) but my mind was changed when using them. They are a brush-type fibre-tip and can be used to achieve a watercolour effect as well for colouring, shading or lettering; you need to vary the pressure to vary the thickness of the line. They have the added benefit of not drying out quickly if you forget to replace the cap, which most of us aim not to do, but still a handy feature.I really like these pens and think my artist nephew will too. I am pleased with this product and so happy to recommend.

Good colour range
Although these are lovely fibre tip pens to use they are a bit pricey are costing just under £2 each. I received a pack of 12 brush tip pens. I liked the colour range and they sit well balanced when using them . Another very good feature is that if you forget to put the pen top on, you have 24 hours before it dries out and becomes unusable. These paint pens more suited to an older child or adult as it is all about pressure for the best results. The lighter it is used the finer the line. More pressure gives thicker lines and covers larger surfaces. The results are very good

Beautiful pens
I ordered these pens as my teenage daughter told me she’d tried these out before and highly recommended them- she was absolutely right, these are fantastic pens.Comes as a pack of 12 including all the main colours you’d expect. The tip of these pens almost reminds me of a paint brush in style but also in use as they glide smoothly across the page. The colours are vibrant and eye catching on the page.I wondered if they’d smudge when in use, but so far I haven’t found that to be the case.Equally I wondered if the ink would go through the pages and I’m pleased to say that it didn’t.At first I did think £20 was quite expensive for a pack of pens, however after using these and seeing the high quality, I’d definitely say they were worth their price tag.Overall I’ve been highly impressed with these pens and more than happy to recommend.

Good quality fibre-tip pens
This is a really nice set of fibre-tip pens, of the quality you would expect from a brand like Stabilo. They are pleasant and easy to use, with the nib varying your line width depending on how hard you press. I have mainly used them for writing (particularly the black) and they are well suited to this job, even if their main purpose is drawing and design. The pens are quite thin and light so they are nice to hold and seem to be set to last for a good amount of time. Although quite pricey at £19 (currently) the assortment of colours and quality make them worth a purchase.

Thick and thin lines with the same pen
Stabilo pens are always high quality, and some of the Stabilio felt tips I've had have lasted years. These pens are "Premium Arty" pens. This means the tips are longer and softer than standard pens, and more like a brush than a pen tip. They are still easy to write with, but are also better for drawing with. You can also use these pens in two distinct ways - press hard to get a thick line, or press more lightly for a thin line. This works easily and nicely, and the harder pressure doesn't damage the brush tip, while with the lighter pressure (which you'll use for writing), you barely have to press at all. There are 12 pens in this pack, with a wide range of colours- black, grey, light and dark green, light and dark blue, orange, yellow, red, burgundy, and two shades of pink.Overall, an excellent set of pens that should last you for years.
