This was bought for out decking as a replacement for the previous one. It is heavy enough for our 2M parasol but is spoiled by the use of quite frankly rubbish castors. I would ask why this base is actually on castors because the diameter of the base with the castors fitted makes it much more susceptible to toppling over in any stiff breeze because the centre of gravity is now 2 inches (50mm) off of the surface? I have seen other designs that have castors attached to a cage that you can lift with a foot press to move and drop, they make the base more stable as it increases the base area.Useful only in light winds with a parasol no larger that 1.5M dia, and hopeless to move / lock in place with the castors supplied.

Den är inte riktigt stabil. Man får skruva åt skruven under varje vecka annars så vickar den.

Avec une rupture sur 3/4 de l’épaisseur de la pierre, Cette base de parasol est inutilisable, et se cassera sans doute dès la première utilisation. J’espère un échange.

Für mich das beste Produkt auf dem Markt, speziell auf Terrassen, wo der Ständer dank 4 robuster Rollen leicht verschoben werden kann, und das bei einem Schirm mit 3 m Durchmesser. Empfehlenswert ist es, gleich einen Reduzierset (ca. 10 €) mit zu bestellen, damit man Schirmständer mit Durchmessern von 38 mm bis 52 mm nahezu nahtlos befestigen kann.
