You need this! I have this same Mathew Henry Commentary in English, but I needed one in spanish aswel. It makes for a good resource when reviewing Biblical scripture and wanting a more complete and thorough comprehensive understanding. This is a great resource for beginners interested in learning aswel as Students who desire insight into scripture and it's practicle application. I've studied at the highschool level and in past years at the seminary level and this makes for a good, sound, economical investment. Obviously, you will require more resources but this Commentary, is definitely a good starting point. The book is heavy, pages are thin, but that's to be expected. If you mistreat it, the back cover will separate from the spine. It did on mine, but i was brutal with it. I still have my 1st one and i still use it lots. Other then that, It's a one stop resource for immediate and precise understanding of context. Especially when time isn't on your side. It doesn't detail every specific portion of scripture, but it will provide a clearer understanding when you need (Exegetical Study) to understand a portion of scripture within its Biblical context. Listen, if you need to study God's Word, just do yourself a favor and get it. I paid for this with my own funds. It wasn't provided to me by the vendor. Nor did I receive a discount for provided a review. Hope this helps someone.

Es un libro excelente para leerlo como material de consulta porque Henry comenta la Biblia con gran profundidad y magnificando la obra de Cristo prácticamente en cada pasaje. Es mejor leerlo con una lupa, ya que amplía la palabra de Cristo. Gracias a nuestro Dios Padre a Jesucristo y al Espiritu Santo por darnos sabiduria con su palabra a travez de este libro para alimentar nuestro corazon y nuestro espiritu necesitados de Él y para ayudar al predicador o lideres. Gloria a Dios Padre a Cristo y al Espiritu Santo porque tuyo es el reino y el poder y la gloria por los todos los siglos. Amen

This is an excellent Bible comentary, but this is a big and heavy book and the hardcover should be better quality. My comentary already is almost broke within a month of use.
