The REST cooling comforter is as advertised. It is a cool to the touch blanket. It’s very lightweight. It’s very silky. It’s very soft. Since it’s lightweight, it takes up very little room in the wash and doesn’t take a million cycles to dry either. It’s still cool after being washed too. It holds up well to pet hair. Dog hair isn’t stuck to it and I’m not sleeping with dog hair around my face 🤣 My cats make biscuits on it and it doesn’t pill or have loose threads. It is called a cooling blanket and while it’s cool and lightweight, I do continue to sleep hot and sweat. But it’s less and I still like my new blanket. If I get cold and put a blanket over this blanket, it easily slips off because this blanket is so silky. I’d buy another blanket for another bed. My only complaint is the colors; I wish there was more variety.

This comforter is amazing! So comfortable and the cooling material really does work well. Its slight weight makes it sink around you and form to your body. It’s like sleeping with a cloud over your body. High quality and looks great too. Could be a little bigger but I’m happy with this purchase.

I rarely give 5 stars to anything. Or write a review so close to receiving a product, but as of now, I am in love with this comforter. I usually need a blanket that's super soft to separate me from a comforter, but this one is so soft and the perfect weight that I absolutely don't need a blanket. I'm not perimenapousal, but I am going through hormonal changes and find myself sweating excessively more then I used to. I am also intolerant of too much heat and too much cold. It's unseasonably warm where I live and my bedroom is also on a second floor. So if someone has a window open or cooks, my room hold in that heat like crazy. Not to mention huge windows that face the setting sun. It can be like sleeping in an oven. This comforter gave me the first peaceful sleep I've had in a long time. Heck, I hate waking up at all, but this morning I woke up with a smile. No sweat. It gets warm when you lay still, however, that was perfect for me because when it was cold at night I just stayed still. When I got a little too warm, I flipped or kicked my legs -boom- cool again. I didn't want to leave my bed at all. It works best with an air conditioner and I have a manual fan pointed towards it for extra insurance of cool-ness. Nice color, no snags...I am waiting for spring sale to buy the sheets. As many people said, price is rather steep. However, I see it as an amazing investment because it'll keep and last longer then most other sheets. It also gets really hot where I live in the summer, so I'll use it all the time.

The blanket is so light yet so warm and cool. It does it job perfectly. The material is cool to the touch and is a bit bigger than our queen size bed. I recommend it for anyone that wants to feel cool at night and still know they are covered .

I bought this because we sleep warm, it had good reviews, and it was the Wirecutter's top pick. PROs: -It's very soft and comfortable; it feels silky smooth against your skin -It's lightweight and cool to the touch Drawbacks: -As others have mentioned, the cooling aspect only works if you use it without a top sheet. Unfortunately, using it without a top sheet would force us to wash the comforter constantly, which is something we didn't want to do, as it would likely degrade the quality. -Even when using it without a top sheet, it warms up quickly. There's no sustainable cooling effect unless you move around a lot. -While it's not a bad-looking comforter, it's not the best-looking, which forced us to have to put something better-looking over it during the day, which was one more thing we had to take off the bed at night. Putting it inside a duvet cover wasn't an option as it would eliminate the cooling effect. Bottom line: This is a quality comforter if you're looking for something lightweight and soft and don't mind washing it often, and if you sleep hot, it's certainly a better option than sleeping with a down or down-alternative comforter.

Absolutely life changing. My husband and I are both hot sleepers. I get hot flashes and wake up a sweaty mess. We’ve tried so many different blankets, sheets, comforters and nothing has worked like this blanket. The king size fits our bed perfectly and the cooling feature?! I slept so hard and well for the first time in I don’t know how long. I noticed an instant difference even just pulling it out of the package. It’s so soft and freezing even to the touch. I will say the one thing we had to figure out the first two nights was that our top sheet (100% bamboo) was not the right fit. We both still woke up hot. Last night, out of frustration, I finally kicked the top sheet off and it was like a wave of ice came over my body. The blanket was still freezing!! You can bet I almost immediately fell asleep! Overall, yes. Absolutely yes. If you’re thinking about maybe doing it? Do it. For us this was an investment absolutely well worth it!

Amazing Amazing. I absolutely love the comforter. FIRST, upon opening I felt a marshmallow softness and silliness. Second, I laid it on my bed and there were no WRINKLES. So very easy to make the the bed. And it doesn't look like a rag on top of your bed. Then I slept in it and it was heavenly. Light weight and did not slide off the bed. Its soo cooling its totally AMAZING. Ive gone through so many comforters in my life and this is a 100.

I have also had the pleasure of dealing with there TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!! after only a couple months owning my king size comforter i noticed a a couple rips starting to form in the stitching. These rips were admittingly small but I can see them starting to form in more than one spot. So of course I got worried because I love my blanket and handle it with care in hopes to avoid any rips or tears in the fabric. I own this one and a queen as well and I use them both as my main comforters so I'll admit my hope was that they will either take this one back and I wait for replacement. Or keep me on file in case the rips get largeer. I emailed REST support team explaining my current predicament. What caught me off guard first was how quickly someone responded to my email, I'm talking no less than 5 minutes after I sent it. Long story short, a gentlemen named Jim, after requiring a bit more information decided that he was going to send me another blanket and told me to either repurpose or gift the one I have now instead of sending it back.. I was amazed by this. Not for just the free blanket essentially, but for the rapid response and fluidity of the entire process. My entire interaction with REST support team just made me feel as though I was a customer they genuinely cared for. it's rare to see a company have high quality products and a REAL "I can, and WANT to help you" attitude. 5 STARS all the way! Perfect for hot sleepers

This thing has changed my life. It feels instantly cool when you touch it, and somehow it stays that way all night. I’m not waking up drenched anymore, I’m not flipping the covers on and off, and I’m finally getting a good stretch of uninterrupted sleep. The fabric is soft and smooth, like luxury hotel bedding, but lighter. It doesn’t trap heat and it doesn’t cling to you. My partner even commented that I’m tossing and turning way less. I wish I’d bought this months ago. Sleep is back. And I feel human again! If you are a hot sleeper, please treat yourself!!

This blanket wow it’s beautifully soft and cool to the touch I’m a bit disappointed I didn’t bite the bullet and order one sooner I was silly enough to buy three other cheap ones. There is actually no comparison the cheap ones don’t even feel remotely the same as this
