MSR Dromedary Shower Kit

Adds shower, even some drinking functionality, to the stock MSR Dromedary that comes without any attachments, so you'll have to buy something, if you want to do more than just fill containers with your bladder. Good design that opens an tiny air hole at top when you twist it shut, to facilitate quick draining of contents thru the end of tube, and a tiny squirt of water may also come out of the pinhole.Recommended!Four stars given only because the MSR Dromedary should be engineered to come with a drinking and shower tube in the box. The guys in Seattle are smart enuf to do this. But they didn't. Sort of makes you wonder why.

The dromedary bag with this shower kit was my third attempt at finding a solar shower that could stand up to some car camping use. I tie the bag to my car's roof rack and attach the shower hose at the end of the day. Test the water temp first though. It can get really hot, in which case I pour some into a bucket for doing dishes and add cold water to the bag for my shower. I'm really happy with this solution. The only problem is that when I'm driving, well-meaning people are always honking and waving frantically to let me know that there's something on my car roof.

I was skeptical this coud be worthwhile, figured I could order parts and make it cheaper so I waited and shopped. There are cheaper shower kits with bags out there, though I already had a dromedary of which I was using the smallest nozzle to shower under. Then I did the math, at worst, federal minimum wage, I'd have maybe two and three quarter hours to complete such a project, I had probably spent that looking at products. So I bought the hose. It arrived, I put it to use and was surprised that it was great, better than I would have made. Hard to describe what makes it so. The end-cap sprays water in a small cyclone, Iwondered if pressure would be an issue, it's wasn't. A good amount of water flows well through the hose via gravity alone. I am pleased with the product.

This adds a nice flexibility to a Dromedary bag. It's such a treat to be able to wash feet or hair at the end of a long day hiking. It's a luxury item for distance backpacking. For car camping where there aren't showers, it's a really nice touch to keep up necessary hygene. This is also great for cleaning up after dinner, and rinsing off gear.For car camping, I paired it with a Dromedary 10 liter bag, which is plenty of water for a couple of quick showers.Recommended.

It has an adjustable valve to control the water flow and I use this with my MSR Dromedary Bag Water Reservoir and it works great.There really isn't a lot more to say about this produce.

The kit is as it looks, a valve spout with a hose attachment that has a small shower "head". I use it on my MSR dromedary bag slung to a tree. It makes an effective cold shower or sink with the hose on, and a general water dispenser with it off. You can't really go wrong, it is a must have for easy water dispensation and conservation from the dromedary bag.

Clear water let it warm up in your black MSR drom bag, get a nice view and enjoy a comfy cozy shower. NO regular soap!!!!!!! only bio soap, there are several out there.

MSR products are great, this goes to a dromadary bag and came with us on a Catalina trip. After a 12 mile sea kayak journey it was nice to take a desalting shower. Works great.
