Durable, Educational, and Fun
I have this globe in my first grade classroom. It is a little above their heads, but creates a great challenge for those who are looking to learn more about the earth and the world we live in. I purchased one off of amazon because one of my students asked for it for Christmas in 2009. His parents asked me to help them find one and I could get free two day shipping so I purchased it for them. It was shipped on time and arrived in great condition.My students use mine on a daily basis and have for about 4 years now. It still works very well. I do have headphones to go with mine and the power cord. I would recommend getting the power cord if you plan on using it a lot! The family I purchased it for just bought batteries for now. They have been very happy with it and are very impressed with what their child learned from it in my classroom. He has been very excited since he received it and plays with it daily at home. His older brother even likes it and plays with it (he's in 4th grade).This globe offers many activities and exploring modes for the kids so they don't get bored easily with this toy. It helps the students locate different places on the globe and learn about those far away places.

Excellent Teaching Globe! 🌏
This a a great teaching globe! After reading reviews we decided to order for our very inquisitive 3 yr old grandson. He's learning so much with this globe!

Never again
This came without a box, completely smashed like an elephant sat on it, it was taped all over and half open. I sent it back and UPS was appalled someone sent it like that, it was an experiment buying a new collectible . said it was suitable for gift giving. What a joke!O stars for sure,,

Overall engaging toy
My kids (6 years old) are playing with this globe constantly. The quality is a bit flimsy - cardboard map on the globe, mountain ranges aren't clear. Also it was unclear how to put it together - there weren't any instructions, just a plastic screw and a spring and we've guessed where they go. This holds the globe together fine when it stays in one place but if my children try to move it the globe detaches from its base. But since it's not a toy that needs to be moved around a lot, this is just an annoyance. Otherwise I'd say it does a great job engaging a child with learning geography.

Nice globe.
Nice globe...caution came delivered in the original box. My kids saw it as soon as we pulled into the driveway so there will be no surprise on Christmas morning, but the globe looks nice.

Interesting idea, could have been better
This is a very interesting concept. It could have been planned better. The game mode does not give the young play enough time to answer it. Particularly when it is meant to teach young children, who have no idea about location.

My 6 year old grandson loves it.
Grandson enjoys learning about other parts of our world and the game format is great.
