Will this mat contain urine when the old guy misses the litter box?

My cat's aren't yhat old. the old one, 19 yrs, passed away aboyt 2 months ago but, when I spilled a little water on it, it held it until I got something to soak it up. The rubber back on it is thick. I don't know if this is the exact mat but I bought a decond one. I have 12 cats in my house. At least until I can find homes for the kittens.

Our cat's litter box is under a piece of furniture and we slide the box out to clean. Will litter bix slide on this?

Possibly? it's not a rubbery surface, more like a plastic, but if you put it on a piece of cardboard I bet it would slide just fine.

Is it soft enough for a person to walk on regularly? Their litterbox is next to a doorway and the rug would be in front of the door also.

My pet litter rug also has to be partly where it has to be walked on a little. I go barefoot all the time and it doesn't bother me to walk on it. It has to be a little bit rough in order to catch the litter that flies around. It does a very good job of catching the litter partly because of the mat but also partly because I bought a litter box that has high sides which really has helped. It also vacuums up good but doesn't ever get all of the loose litter. That doesn't bother me because I take it outside and shake it out besides vacuuming it. I love the size because my cats are big and they can really throw litter around. I think you would ll be happy with it.

great product for great price!

love the color of this mat! i got the jumbo size, and mine came with no weird creases! it’s super cushiony and padded for my two cats! one of my cats constantly kicks litter out of the box but it catches the litter super well and its easy to just shake off into a trash bag!
