This is a nice light piece that not only shields you from the sun but keeps you surprisingly cool. I had it for a couple of weeks and wore it to bed as a pajama top for a while and slept better since I was cooler. Actually wore the hood too which kept me cooler.At first I thought it was too big, but the looseness in the body helps air flow. The sleeves seemed a little long (material went well past my knuckles), but once I started moving around I realized that I had coverage without restricting arm movement. The hood seemed a little big, but again, the looseness helps ventilation.I haven't taken a close look at the material content, but it feels like it is barely there. Very nice and wearable all day as an only layer.One test this weekend was a visit to Carolina Beach - high eighties and medium humidity put the real feel at mid nineties. I took a long walk with the dog around 3pm in the middle of the heat of the day, hood and face mask up. I wore a baseball cap underneath the hood.I sweat heavily with even minor activity in all conditions, but the North Carolina humidity sucks me dry. After about a forty five minute walk, my neck and high on my back were a little wet, but I was otherwise dry above the waist - a very different and pleasant experience. Equally important was that I felt great at the end of the walk, but my poor dog was sucking windmand collapsed on the floor from the heat. I was surprised that a thin shirt like this could protect me from the sun and keep me so much cooler than if I was just wearing a tshirt or tank top.I got plenty of double takes as I walked down the street, but I was so cool and comfortable (for this region) that I didn't care. I just wish I had some kind of pants or shorts to keep my lower half equally protected and cool.With the baseball cap on, the hood was snug, so don't fret if it feels big right out of the package. It is a good size with or without the hat. If you want to maintain the fit of the hood, the drawstrings have clips that lock the size in place.Very pleased with this product. The price point is great. The only way I could be more pleased is if it were free.I took a chance on this cover up since I have to sit through many outdoor games for my kids and did not expect to get something so effective at keeping me cool and protected. I would have been the last person to wear long sleeves and a hood in the summer, especially in Carolina, but this really works.I have had it for less than a month, so I cannot comment on durability. But I am looking forward to trying it out hiking, playing golf and on my stand up paddle board. Might have to get another one...

This is a nice product. It is warmer than I expected. It functions like a lightweight sweatshirt. It might be too warm for the heat of summer, but it does protect from the sun. It is ideal for cool mornings and evenings. It keeps the sun and bugs off my skin. Good product for the price.

This shirt is very comfortable and fit as expected. In addition to providing sun protection to the torso, arms and hands it has a hood and face protector, too. If you watch any fishing videos you'll probably see folks wearing shirts like this, and hear them telling folks that the sun is so much brighter out on the ocean. It's simple - the water acts like a huge mirror, so you end up getting sun from all angles. But you can easily pull down the hood and face protector if not needed. It'll still be there if the need arises.With this shirt you get protection from sunburn as well as windburn. If you enjoy fishing or any activity on or near the water, or if you just like to be protected from UV rays while enjoying activities out under the sun, you should give this shirt a look. It's comfortable, stylish protection.

This is a fantastic sun protection shirt! Unlike so many others I’ve tried, the hood has drawstrings so you can adjust the fit and keep the hood on your head when it’s windy out.I tried the shirt for several hours in direct sunlight, and did not get sun or sunburn anywhere the shirt covered.The sizing is true to the size chart, a small is really a small. The fit is regular fit, not loose or fitted. The shirt is 100% polyester so it doesn’t shrink in the dryer, and it’s no fuss to wash.I found the mesh face mask quite handy. When I didn’t have the mask on my face, I could arrange it so it covered the front of my neck. I put it on when I’m doing something with a lot of dust, like weed whacking or sweeping the garage. And it’s nice temporary protection if I’ve been outside for a while and it’s time to put more sunscreen on my face but I don’t have the bottle nearby.It’s a lightweight shirt, but I was still hot wearing the hood and face mask in 80℉ weather. I have the Castle Gray Camo color which is light gray. However, I wasn’t finishing or sitting still, I was working hard. But the sun protection is worth it for me.

It's a very good shirt. The Fisheal hoodie is amazing as it's comfortably smooth, light weight, not too tight or loose, attractive sharp patterns with bright color, not hot even in the brightest sunlight, and most of all it's really protective against UV light. Most polyester clothing can have strong UPF protection and this definitely does. I worked in 95F+ weather with searing sunlight and the hoodie provided full coverage of the upper body. The built in neck gaiter was also very nice to block out dust and sunlight on my face, and it was very easy to breathe. The shirt didn't heat up under direct sunlight and kept me as cool as I thought I could be, wicking away any sweat in the process. I actually felt way more comfortable in this long-sleeved shirt than if I just wore a t-shirt or button up. I also didn't get sunburned or tanned under the shirt. Overall, the Fisheal hoodie is of excellent quality and actually does work in protecting against UV light.

I have other fishing shirts and I like them. The sleeves are long (I am a woman, and this is a men's shirt.) I like a looser fitting shirt, so this is perfect. The thumb holes, neck gator and hood are a plus for me because they provide more coverage and less to burn. I burn easily. I am heading to the beach for vacation and am looking forward to being comfortable. I recommend this shirt.

True to color on sites fit my 12yr old perfectly

My husband loves this watershirt. He is a 2xl-3xl and it fits him great. Not too snug but not too loose. The mask and hood are perfect for fishing especially if you have a beard and can't really lather sunblock on it
