I recently purchased this product and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with it. This product has completely exceeded my expectations. The quality of the product is outstanding. It is made with durable materials and feels very sturdy in my hands.

Overall for the price this was a good purchase for what I used it for. The only thing I noticed was the paint can get scuffed up easily if your using it outdoors

I needed to add additional storage and some sort of bolsters to help my passengers feel more secure. These ammo boxes were the perfect combination of being very sturdy and just the right size for armrest storage boxes.To mount them, I simply drilled holes in the bottom of each and bolted them to my atv's rear rack using u-bolts. After sealing up the new holes, these still make for awesome, waterproof storage.The black powder coat looks great and should hold up nicely. It's not quite mat, but also not quite satin. Overall, they are a nice match to the heavy-duty black plastic of my existing rear cargo box.Next, I'm looking to mount cushions to the passenger-side and the tops of each for added comfort....I may integrate some cup holders onto/into the boxes...I even have a design to turn one into an insulated cooler to keep a few items cold or hot while on the trails...still working out the details for those mods....

Make sure you throw a moisturizer bag in it while storing your ammo. Has a rubber seal and a locking mechanism. Not a box I'd use to haul ammo to the range, but rather one I would fill solely with a single type of ammo, same manufacturer and grain, label it, the store it. It also stacks well with other steel ammo cans. Covers all the necessities, lock, stack, steel case, rubbed sealed.
