Review: Heavy duty slicer that actually cuts cleanly - I picked this up after getting tired of flimsy apple slicers that bend or struggle to cut all the way through, and this one has been great. Right away you can tell it’s much more solid than the cheap plastic versions. The larger size is a big plus because it handles bigger apples without getting stuck halfway through. It cuts cleanly into 8 slices and actually goes all the way through instead of leaving the bottom connected. The stainless steel blades feel sharp and sturdy, and the handles are comfortable enough to get good pressure when cutting tougher apples. Cleanup is also pretty easy since everything rinses off quickly without fruit getting jammed everywhere. Pros: heavy-duty construction, cuts cleanly through larger apples, sturdy blades, easy to use Cons: none Overall: really solid apple slicer that feels built to last and works much better than the cheaper lightweight versions.
Review: Most amazing thing ever - I don’t know why I’ve never had one of these but this thing is a game changer when it comes to snack time. I usually like apple slices with peanut butter but I can’t have a sharp knife at work. This device allows you to enjoy 16 apple slices perfectly cut and in less than 2 seconds. I like how the apple is trapped in there and can’t fly out. The sides are removable to make them easier to wash. The core has to be centered on there correctly for it to produce clean slices without seeds. Extremely easy to use, it’s made with durable materials that feel sturdy, the slices are perfect and thinner than I’m used to cutting myself. Excellent purchase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best to push down from above instead of from the side - gravity is your friend!
*by J***O on February 21, 2025*

This was the third apple slicer I bought for some large Honeycrisp apples. The best part about this slicer is the side guards that keep the apple and slicer in place for the most part. After about a month of daily use, the blades sliced through one of the sections at the bottom of the slicer, but keeping that in mind it still slices better than any of the others I tried. It's also the largest slicer I've found so the slicer doesn't get stuck on the edge of the apples. I like it but it's not a perfect five with the cracked bottom piece.
