Overseas USE ONLY Norstar 200 King Size Moist & Dry Heating Pad 220-240 Volt

I purchased this for a recent trip to Spain. Worked great! It's gets to an appropriate level of heat. Is it as hot asUS heating pads? No, but in reality most heating pads get way too hot to be safely used. I am very happy with my purchase and will bring it with for our next European adventure.

This heating pad worked as described overseas. I traveled to Italy from the USA recently. Rather than worrying about buying an adapter plug and a converter to bring my normal heating pad (if using a powered device like a heating pad, or hair dryer you need a converter also when traveling to different countries) I simply bought this heating pad that already is made for Europe. No converters or adapters needs. I have back issues and needed to makes sure I had a working heating pad while on vacation. This worked perfectly and the price was the same as I would have paid to purchase all the necessary converters to bring my good old trusty USA heating pad. This worked great. It is a 2 round prong plug and worked in various parts of Italy. It's not as plush and cushiony as my everyday heating pad but it was just what I needed for travel and folded up nicely in my suitcase.

This worked perfectly for a trip to Italy. After walking all day, I really needed it. It didn’t have an auto shut off which would have been a nice feature.

I bought FIVE of these heating pads, for aunties and grandmothers in Kolkata and Delhi. Two were "king size" (12"x24") and three were smaller (12"x15"). I will update this review once all of them have been opened and used, but so far, I can say this:One aunt has immediately started using her king-size heating pad and loves it. She is in the early stages of Parkinson's, and all her family is fighting to keep her as comfortable and as active as possible. When the call came in for heating pads that would work in India, I immediately hopped on both Amazon-US and Amazon-India, to see what was out there. The products available on the India website didn't seem to have as good reviews, so I crossed my fingers and ordered this clearly-labeled "FOR OVERSEAS USE ONLY" item. Well, five items. I was nervous because one recent review (from November 2017) said that the heating pad did not work in India, but, well, I had to take that chance. There was no way I would be able to return a defective item, and $30 for a heating pad for a beloved aunt is worth the risk. Luckily, hers worked right out of the box. I will report back on the fate of the other four- I don't think the recipients have tested them yet- as well as anything I hear back on the longevity. - AM SIL

My female travel partner, who has had back surgeries, had looked and looked but could not find a heating pad for non-U.S. use. Before our recent trip to Chile and Argentina, I found this one and purchased it but didn't tell her. First night in a hotel, I removed it from my suitcase and presented it to her. Thank you, Norstar, for making her more comfortable and warm!

The heat pad works as described. Seems to be a good quality item.

I brought this for mom to use it in India. Even at the highest setting, it only gets lukewarm. It provides no relief or heat. It's a useless product. Returned it. DO NOT BUY. Please research local brands of heating pads in country you are traveling to and buy that. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS.

the heating pillow doesn't reaches higher temperature even if you raise the button to the maximum level.
