I am sure I could spend hundreds more on knives and get something slightly better. However, as someone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen, I have loved this purchase. These knives are a joy. The block is gorgeous. Highly recommended.

I have been searching for affordable German steel. I washed, and started using these knives as soon as I brought them in. Super happy!

This is for the 6 piece set. After a 15% off deal, I'm very happy. These are not cheap or low quality. They are also not quite elite high end either. The set I received is flawless. Beautifully boxed, decent weight, super sharp. I like the smaller handy size of the Santoku knife. The other knives are larger standard size. Very Nice!

The knife handle sucks so much oh my god. Other than that, this knife rocks hard for prep. It’ll take the beatings you don’t wanna give to your wusthoff, no sweat. Blades a little funky shaped but she cleaves like a lady.

Excellent knife. But be very careful! It’s quite sharp. I gave one of my finger tips a lasix cut trying to clean it.

These knives are as advertised. Packaged nicely! Arrived very soon.I'm glad I could buy them WITHOUT a block. They work superbly withthe one I already have! They are sharp as expected, but do feel a tadlight in the hand than my other knives. But with sharp honed edgesthey should work really well as expected, as needed.

I bought these knives and they do the job for me. I'm a beginner house cook and these are definitely an upgrade from the walmart colorful plastic trash I've endured for years. I'm not experienced with steel quality but these knives seem to come out of the box as if sharpened at about 800 to 1000 grit and on my set, the wood handle is flush with the steel and comfortable.I need to warn that the item is not "on sale". This "sale" has been going on for months now and this behaviour breaks the rules of Amazon. Do not buy these knives with the illusion that you're getting $100+ knives for a good deal because they're probably worth the sale price as full price.

The knife set did not fully convince me (if compared to the cost). Aesthetically they are very pleasant, they all come with well-sharpened blades, however I noticed some smudges in a knife in particular... that of bread. Between one bow and the other (of the serrated blade) I noticed burrs in the iron, but in the remaining knives I did not notice any imperfections.

These knives have German steel and Chinese craftsmanship. I have owned a bread knife for a year and it has performed well. So I bought this set and I am happy with the performance of each instrument.

I really love the knife set. They are all sharp and of good quality. One issue I am experiencing is that the honing (sharpening) stick is a different wood stain compared to the rest of the knives, so it stands out like a sore thumb. That being said it still works excellently. Also, the knife block is of less quality than I was expecting for this price. It wabbles when it stands and has several areas of wear that were not present in the product description.

I’ve been using mine for a few months now and I am loving them! They wash great too! Super impressed with them. They are sharp and have had no issues at all.
