Dayton Audio DCS165-4 6-1/2" Classic Subwoofer 4 Ohm

I used this to replace the Subwoofer in my Klipsch Pro-media 2.1 system. The original Subwoofer blew out (foam dry rotted and fell apart). While not a perfect fit, it does fit and is the same size as the original Klipsch Subwoofer. I mentioned not an exact for because the grille that covers it counted on the original's frame to hold it in place so you will either have to use a hot glue gun (what I ended up using), super glue, or some other medium to hold it in place. The sound is as good or better than the original. Overall I am happy with my purchase!

Bass is great indoors with the proper enclosure or somewhat proper enclosure like the one I built with isolated coaxials. Great value for the money!

Worked great to make a portable speaker! Cheap price aswell.

I had a blown 6x9 in my truck so I replaced both with 2 of these. They sound pretty good once broken in. I deducted a star for the condition one was in when I received it. After straightening it out with a pair of pliers, it worked fine.

It fit my 1990's Bazooka and had good range.

For 6.5 inch subwoofer this thing delivers a lot of great base if you got 100 W amp to subwoofer, I’m blasting music on a DIY boombox, and it fills the room full of base for 100 W RMS 6.5 inch subwoofer for $70!!! if you want something smaller, but have the bass great at a decent price I would recommend this but if you’re making a custom box for the little hole lip for the subwoofer to sit on is about 5.5 inches, so make your hole to 5.5” diameter. All in all I highly recommend for a 100W RMS 6.5 inch subwoofer!!!!

I bought this to pair with some Klipsch RP-600M bookshelf speakers for my computer desk audio setup and I couldn't be more happy with it. I put it in a 0.5ft^3 ported box with a 2" port tuned to 37hz and it sounds amazing and hits hard. I'm running it off a Fosi Audio TP02 amp and it gives it more than enough power. I added a photo of my box design if anyone else wants to reproduce it, it can be made with a single 3/4" 2ftx4ft piece of MDF you can get from Home Depot for $30 and the port is a 2" PVC pipe cut at 10". Couldn't be happier with this little sub, it has exceeded all of my expectations for a small subwoofer and i highly recommend it.

this subwoofer rated @4ohms 200W sounds incredible, at first i thought aww hoping for a dvc(dual voice coil) i ended up with a svc(single voice coil)…it looks cute until i plugged in this amp i can’t believe how smooth it sounds for this little 6.5” woofer alerted my iphone for noise disturbance i never knew Dayton Audio until i purchased a pair of 3” 4ohm 60W full range speakers is what lead me to this amazing subwoofer, i want to purchase (4)2-1/2” speakers

Amazon ottima come sempre ma il sub se così volete chiamarlo .... se avete le casse da scrivania da 10 euro allora va bene ma se avete speso dai 100 in su non lo sentite per niente. Se volete i bassi seri comprate un subwoofer auto.

Lo compre para cambiarle el woofer de fabrica de un subwoofer Klipsch y revivio el subwoofer. Suena increible, bajos muy profundos. Obviamente depende del diseño de la caja del subwoofer. Me funcionó excepcional, los materiales del woofer Dayton se ven de excelente calidad.
