I purchased this item primarily for outdoor usage. Very clear sound for streaming music and movies from my phone. Bass is moderate which is perfect for not disturbing those who do not enjoy your music genre. Sturdy design seems durable and did not cause an issue when splashed with water near the pool. Lightweight with a solid handle for easy portability. Spouse loves bringing this round the property when gardening and clearing the yard. Kids enjoy bringing this near the trampoline or fire pit for hanging out. Kept a clear Bluetooth signal when charging the phone in the house or car but using the speaker within 50' from the device. Auxiliary and USB in/out ports available for connecting directly to other devices. Charges within 30 minutes from being completely drained. Considering a second one since they can be synced together with other Alpatronix speakers. Recommended for the whole family.

While I don't have this model, I have the AX440 model. It has sat outside for almost 7 years straight, rain or shine, snow and scorching 110*F summers, and it still sounds as good as the day we bought it. Alpatronix makes quality products!

I ordered from an Amazon web page that promised "an exclusive 1-year warranty and 100% customer satisfaction guarantee."The item stopped working after only 5 months, and Alpatronix refuses to honor the 1-year warranty.

Buyers beware!!! Followed instructions to a T and this piece of crap almost burnt my house down. You get what you pay for!
