Simple, effective, & made in the USA
I have a lengthy telephone cord that I use to connect my computer to a phone jack for an app that only connects via a direct dial modem. Until I bought Cordpro, the cord was a tangled mess. Now it stores neatly and unwinds easily thanks to Cordpro. The directions are clear and easy to follow. The only problem I experienced while inserting the cord was interference from our cat to whom anything that moves is a target.

Disappointed
This is great to store cords in if you don’t want to use the cord. If you need it for stationary use and holding the slack it is ok. This is not good for holding cord that has high in/out usage. I will need to pull it a part to get my cord out. I am so sorry I bought two. If I had to guess it might have cost a dollar to make, so it is over priced for the quality. I am still wondering how it got a high review.

there's nothing bad about it
for what it is, this is overpriced. there's nothing bad about it, but it seems like the sort of thing you could make for less than a dollar apiece. no winding mechanism, it's just 3 pieces of plastic riveted together. plastic rivets, so not suited for a heavy duty cycle. for the size of cords you can fit in it, it's robust enough. won't hold a big extension cord, but good for neatening up a nest behind the tv.

Excellent for A/V cables
I bought this cord reel to organize my A/V cables and it works great. It is a very clever design that wraps the cable from the middle. It does get a little tedious winding up the cables but it is well worth the effort to keep my cables untangled. I have four and each one is used for a different thickness of cable. The thicker the cable, the shorter it can be. I wish they had a slightly bigger size but the next bigger reel is for much larger cables.

Excellent method of storing and keeping cables neat.
I bought this one and the medium sized one both for my camping gear to organize an extension cord and a custom cable I made for an area light. Works great. Easy to use. At just under $10, I feel it is a little overpriced for what it is, especially considering that the larger version (which is at least 4x larger than this one) made for a medium duty extension cord is less than $1 more than this smaller one....just my opinion.

Great product!
Love these! I was able to fit a 9' household extension cord in the mini and it stays nice and neat stored my travel bag. I’m surprised I was able to fit a 25' garden hose in the residential Cordpro. I'm using it to store a drinking hose for my camper and it keeps it clean while being stored and during use. I love that I only unwind what I need and no longer have extra hose lying around getting tangled. Takes just a little bit longer to wind up than just winding a hose around your arm or another type of cord organizer, but it's well worth it in the long run for the convenience and storage benefits. I highly recommend these cord and hose organizers and plan to buy more for myself and for gifts.

Solution without a problem
I'm a huge fan of the larger Cordpros. I have 5 of them and they're the best way I've found to store and manage 50' & 100' extension cords. I ordered three of these little guys expecting them to be similarly useful for smaller cords, but was seriously disappointed. Here are the pros and cons as I see them.Pros:-Unless you cut your extension cords to length, they are always somewhat longer then needed. These look nicer than loose cord for cords deployed around the house.-They allow you to extend a cord quickly and tangle-free.Cons:-They hold less cord than the description suggests. A 10' 18/2 extension cord is a tight fit.-The little tabs that stick out are too small for easy winding.-The hole in the divider is very small compared to a 2-prong plug end. It's hard to get a plug through there the first time.-There's insufficient room for the ends of an extension cord to fit inside, so cord storage isn't particularly neat.-They are not suitable for some of the signaling applications suggested in the listing. In order to work, the cord wraps in the same direction on both sides of the cordpro. That means it needs to bend in the middle. Because of the small form factor, the resulting bend essentially a fold - too sharp for signal wire applications like network cables, USB cables, coaxial cables, microphone cables, etc.. I'm not saying they won't work satisfactorily for you, but signal cable applications have minimum bend radius standards that the Cordpro mini won't meet.I ended up using two of these for a couple extension cords that run behind my couch. These are neater than loose cords on the floor, but for half the price I could have cut the cords to length and installed new plugs. Due to the wide variety of applications it's ill-suited for, the Corpro mini seem to be a solution without a problem.

Very cheap plastic
Very cheap lightweight plastic with very bland instructions the capsule doesn't open so no idea how was I supposed to feed through a 50 foot thin flat ethernet cord. A waste of money and a waste of time period I asked for refund Amazon didn't even want this back they just gave me my money that very moment.
