I switched to the Pool Filter Balls this year from sand and I am thrilled. I have a 2hp Hayward sand Filter for the past 16 years. I have been having issues with keeping the pool clean for the past few years even after changing the sand and the filter internals.Gave the Filter Balls a try as I needed to empty my sand again this year and didn’t want to go through the hassle of removing 300lbs of sand again. So far in the first month of use my pool has never been cleaner, the filter runs more quietly and I feel as if there is less stress on the motor.I have only backwashed one time and only because I was so used to doing so at least 2-3 times a week that I thought subverting must be wrong. The issue starts around 12-13lbs and, as I said, the water looks fantastic.I’m going to run the Filter Balls through the wash at the end of the season and dry them out for the winter storage. I will try to receiver to post an update at the end of the session and/or next year.Highly recommend giving these a try.

I am 72 years old and this year decided to change the sand in my Hayward 244T filter. Having always had someone else do it in the past I decided to research how to do it…( I was not looking forward to dealing with 300 lbs of old sand and 300 lbs of new)…ran across an add for this filter media and decided to try it out as it was unbelievable easier to install in the filter. Googled filter balls made in USA and this company came up…ordered the balls, they arrived in 2 days….I had several questions and decided to email the company for answers…sent the email at 5:15 pm EST, and shockingly received a reply 5 minutes later…I found I had not ordered the proper amount and the service rep helped me amend my order and sent them out that night, I received them late the next day…unbelievablely fast…extremely helpful service department…have installed and been running for a couple days now….they work great…and didn’t have to break my old back lifting 50lb bags of sand….very very pleased with this product and company

I bought them June 2022, post pollen season coastal SC and they have been great. This year we had the normal heavy pollen and the balls do not appear able to adequately trap pollen. I backwash and get a bit of off color water, but the pool is solid yellow. I put a cloth skimmer bag in and it cakes up with yellow pollen. Tried running the pump at low speed still really yellow. Am I going to have to wait until post-pollen and then replace the water to get it clear?

I've used these before n they're amazing n very light. Y bother with heavy sand that can return through yr pool jets. We removed the old balls that were 7 yrs old n they were still in great condition but dirty. Probably would have just cleaned the old balls if I had known they were in great condition. We added the new set n it brought my neglected pool back to life! Each bag represents a100 pd bag of sand. Just be sure u get the Filter Balls Blu n not a knock off product!

We have a sand filter for our 33ft round pool. Sand was due for change so we thought we'd give these a try. To be fair,our pool is always a challenge to get clean at start of the year. So far so good. Will update at end of season when we close pool
