She asked for charcoal sticks without going into detail. I chose these because they offer a range of hardness, from light to dark. I always do a LOT of research before I purchase anything, so I was confident that these would be the ticket. It used to take her a long time to shade in a large dark area. She says that these charcoal blocks make it an absolute breeze. She couldn't be happier with them. So, if you're a charcoal artist who has only used pencils and vines, or if you have a lovely charcoal artist in your life, you can't go wrong with these.

### ⭐ Stick shaped Gray Rocks

Says charcoal on the package but it's nothing more than a gray rock shaped like a stick. It's not even close to black. Seriously, if you are thinking of doing some serious charcoal artwork don't bother.
