Excellent quality and the photos are bright and sharp. However, I’ve given it four stars because of the fact that at the weekend you get one card for both days. Almost all Page a day calendars do this and it annoys me because if anything you want more pictures for the weekend. Then if it’s a crap subject like an Orangutang, macaque monkey or whatever your antipathy is then you’ve got to look at it all weekend.The stand for this is very sturdy and will not topple over. You can reuse it eg for a phone / small tablet stand. Though better still if the manufacturers sold refills.These are separate cards that you turn round after six months as the photos printed on both sides. So it’s not the rip-off thin paper type.

Liked pictures and packaging

This is the third year I've bought this and the second year I've also bought my parents one. Some duplicates from previous years but there are so many beautiful photos. I work from home most of the time and it's nice having a new 'view' each day.

This is the 3rd year running I've ordered this Nature Page-a-Day Calendar together with the matching cat, dog and art versions too. As desk calendars go I have yet to see one that exceeds this series for consistent quality. This 2023 edition is no exception as the production is of the usual high standard with many wonderful pictures - the pictures are different each year.For each day (at weekends it has one picture for Saturday and Sunday) there is a high-quality photograph together with an observation on the scene depicted. The pictures are both photographically good as well as being interesting and the printing quality is high. Additionally, the clear plastic holder supplied is really sturdy and will remain stable on your desk throughout the year. It always gives a lift to the beginning of my day to see the new picture revealed by this calendar - a tradition maintained in this 2023 version that will be a lasting gift across the year.This calendar comes in a clear plastic stand which could last several years, so it's interesting to see that you can now buy this calendar in a refill pack eg. without the plastic holder. The irony is, however, that the refill is pack is more expensive (at the time of this review) than the full pack with the stand.In summary, a high-quality desk calendar for 2023 that will certainly delight any nature lover/traveller and it's good value too. Recommended.
