My Adventure on the Urban Hair-scape
The Highrise Highlights:Smooth Operator: First off, the texture! Creamy, but not greasy. It glided smoothly onto my hair, making the styling process effortless.Flexible Hold: No helmet hair here. It gave a decent hold that lasted, but with enough flexibility for my hair to move naturally.Matte Finish: For someone like me who isn’t a fan of super shiny looks, this was a godsend. It gave a neat matte finish that looked understated yet stylish.Subtle Scent: A mild, pleasant fragrance that doesn’t overpower. I've gotten a compliment or two about it!The Alleyway Aspects:Quantity Queries: For someone with thick or long hair, you might find yourself going through the 3 oz. quicker than anticipated.Wash & Wear: While it washes out relatively easily, on super humid days, I felt the need for a mid-day touch-up.

Worth every penny
Tried different types of gel and paste. By far the best one street cream. Great result highly recommended.

It really works in keeping your hair in place!
My husband won’t use anything else! He swears that it keeps his crazy hair in place. It’s not sticky and has no smell.

3 stars for odor. 4.5 for function.
Short review:NOT a fan of the smell one bit (details below), but it functions as a decent, much lower cost substitute to my favorite styling creamFull review:I have been searching for a cheaper alternative to the pretty expensive Paul Mitchel "Mitch, Clean Cut, Medium Hold / Semi-Matte" styling cream. The Mitch cream is my favorite but it's about 17 bucks for a 3oz can.I've tried several other brands to replace it, some from local stores, another one called Smooth Viking that I got on Amazon. The Johnny B Street Cream is the closest thing to the Mitch cream i've come across at a reasonable (half) the price.+ Holds best when your hair is mostly or completely dry. Since my hair is very curly, I can't let it completely dry out or it's just basically a Bob Ross.+/- It's not as thick as the Mitch cream, as such, if your hair is damp when you apply it, it will not really do anything. it's still definitely usable, I just have to really make sure my hair is much drier than usual, though it's just towel drying.- The smell. I think this stuff stinks like old man cologne with the olfactory piercing quality of Brute with a sledge hammer, however, my wife thinks it smells good. To me It smells like what I imagine people who've lost their sense of smell think is a possibly a little more amount of cologne than maybe you should use, but in reality they'd applied so much that they'd fail an air quality tests in a room they left 5 minutes ago.I smell it readily for hours after applying it, but even after having it applied for a whole day, and rinsing my hair out before bed 14 hours later, I can still catch subtle hints of it remaining sometimes.

Good Product
This work really well for guys with thinner hair. It’s not too heavy but helps with a bit more body for styling.

New Favorite Hair Product
I was looking for a product for my hair. I have fine hair Asian hair and this worked wonders. I use it with a bit of hairspray and it lasts the day. Low shiny but high hold. It’s not greasy and washed out with just water.
