This thing has a little stand that folds out so you can stand up your phone. But it's designed with a tiny footprint so that the phone will always fall over no matter what. Especially since it leaves the power cable poking out the top, which unbalances the entire thing. It's one of the most ridiculous design choices I've ever seen. Why put a little easel on there is it's not going to work at all? Of course, you can hold it in your hot little hands, and they will be hot because the warm air exhaust blows directly onto them.When I ordered this, the listing talked about an app to control the lighting. However, the box has a piece of black electrical tape over the section that describes this feature, and it's apparently now gone from the listing. I don't care that much because I don't want some janky app on my phone anyway, and I appreciate that they didn't waste resources printing new boxes, but at the same time, the whole thing is incredibly amateurish, and it makes me wonder how serious these people are. Can you imagine Apple or Samsung removing a feature and then just taping over the boxes to hide the description?Anyway, I do like the RGB display, it's mesmerizing. I like the three different cooling settings, although I doubt their efficacy, especially if you like to use a case on your phone. In my testing, the device made the surface of the case cooler, but the cooling barely penetrated the case to the surface of the phone. So to use this, I would constantly have to be removing my case, then putting it back on when done.Build is also nice. There's a lot of plastic to keep the weight down, but it's solid and nicely made. The lighting has a couple of different modes including rainbows and flashing modes synced to the fan that make it appear to change direction.Bottom line for me: it probably doesn't really cool the phone much, especially if you use a case. The easel is almost worthless. The company appears to be a bit sketchy with their taping over the boxes (although recycling boxes is great, why didn't they have their ducks in a row before going to print?). The device itself seems well made and the peltier cooler does a good job at heating its hot side and cooling its cold side, though I doubt this has much effect on the phone's temperature. It does not charge the phone, nor does it adhere magnetically, instead using springs and clips inspired by Jules Verne I guess.It's not terrible, but I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

This cooling unit is nice enough but I think the limited functionality (at least for me) makes the price point entirely way too high and simply not worth the investment. As a content creator, my phone is constantly overheating so I thought this would be a great help - and it is, but only if/when I'm near a power source. It has to be plugged in to use which in some scenarios is no big deal and doable. In others though, like when I'm recording an outdoor workout, my phone overheats twice as quick and unless I remember to charge AND BRING (the real kicker) my portable charger, this device is useless. And even with my portable charger, finding a place to sit it so that the power cord remains plugged in but can also reach the unit where it is attached to my phone that is typically in a mount and on a tripod.Another drawback is that you have to take your phone case off to use it (which I believe is the case for all cooling systems, or at least the ones I've seen). If you record content and use any type of phone mount, it is more than likely that you willA) not be able to mount your phone at allB) have to continuously take it on and off the mount in order to remove the caseC) have to remove the case prior to mounting and leave your $1K+ phone exposed/unprotected throughout the entire recording process.If you're anything like me or have a set-up anything like mine, NOTHING is worth me potentially breaking my phone and the silicone case I keep on it actually helps the mount grip and hold the weight of my phone better. Therefore, option C is and will never be the option for me and Option A and B aren't looking too great either.There isn't a temp display or a way to gauge how hot or cold your phone is, but it does seem to cool my phone at an impressively quick rate. The colors are also a fun little feature and did cause a few people to stop and ask me about it. The kickstand is just ok as you have to place it in just the right spot for it to not tip to either side (for reference i have an iPhone 13 pro max). Unless you hold your phone horizontally, holding it as you usually would is not at all comfortable. You'll have to pick your poison when it comes to fooling with the kickstand positioning or placing your caseless phone face down while cooling.IMO, 1 and a half positive features does not equate to a $50 price point. For $50 I should be able to use it whenever/wherever, pick my own LED colors/patterns, have a functional kickstand or way to hold it when cooling, and be fed dinner or at the very least, get to pick my own dessert.

The media could not be loaded.  I was skeptical because I didn’t know how would something cool down your phone, but it did work, it got cold on the back of my phone. You do have to plug it so it could cool down your phone, great product!

The tragedy of awsome cell games is the way they can cook your phone to death! This amazing device changes everything! My phone stays an icy cold 70° even with my hottest games! It clings to my phone without needing to remove the case. It even has a stand! The colors are so cool! This unit also doesn't heat up itself so holding it in your hands isn't uncomfortable. If this thing also wirelessly charged my phone at the same time I'd owe the manufacturers my first born!This isn't cheap but considering it extends the life of a of a $1000 investment you can't really quibble about it...

This keeps my phone cool. This is so necessary with the text temps being above 100 everyday
