Excellent gift! Tons of meat for the money, and it's got a good ratio of lean to fat, which we prefer over Zabar's. To be sure, it's an indulgence and a splurge, but if you know someone who loves the taste of a genuine NY Deli but doesn't live there anymore, this is actually worth the money and will be appreciated.

Not at all like the real thing. I’ve ordered foods from all over the country from famous restaurants. So not my first mail order meal. Quality of meat was all chewy and fat. Harder to chew than shoe leather. Pickles may have gone bad or a bad batch. Had to toss pickles felt like the pickles were empty when you touched them.

So excited to get this package until... Opened it up and pickle juice on everything. The lid was loose. Looked at the meat and there was so much fat on the corned beef AND the pastrami. Not enough meat, after cutting off the fat to make a sandwich. My dogs loved it. Super disappointed.

It was great ! We will do it again….

That well known Carnegie Deli was selling products on the Amazon site was a thrill as that type of food is not sold in Tacoma, WA where I live. The package arrived and when I opened it, the pastrami was fine, but the corned beef had so much fat on it, it was really terrible. I kept it, but I will never buy it again. When you pay a premium price for something, you expect to get premium product. Carnegie Deli must get rid of their fatty corned beef through internet sales. Buyer beware.

Very disappointing. The ratio of fat to lean was really poor. I wouldn't order again.Then 66 ⁶was almost entirely gone when received. Not worth the cost of this item

Carnegie Deli was my hubby's favorite- he always got the Jerry Lewis sandwich so I thought I would buy the gift set for $169 for Father's Day through Amazon. Package arrived with no ice packs, shipping took 4 days and they left out the deli mustard. No contact info and Google has the wrong phone number. They closed their restaurants for a reason- order from Katz's instead. Amazon customer service agent said he couldn't do anything about it because it is third party. All around ROTTEN EXPERIENCE- do not buy this item! Such a shame-we had great memories at Carnegie- not anymore!
