Great soundbar for a secondary TV.
I do not recommend this for your main TV as it is edged out in capability and specification by other similarly priced units.If you want a soundbar to focus just on music, then buy Bang & Olufsen. However, if you want the whole home sound this B+W system is better.

This is my second Formation soundbar and now my last
This has a lifespan of about 2 years before it dies. This is my second one I’ve purchased. Both had the same timeline of use. I bought this second one on January 2023. And it died right before Halloween 2024.

Not compatible for my Samsung TV, which can connect to most of brands. The sound quality is not also impressive. The volume control response is slow.Other than look, not recommended.

Not worth the money at all. Always looses connection and home remote never connected.
Sounds great, but will not connect to a remote, app always looses connection. Absolutely waste of money!

Great company losing edge?
I have 6 B&W speakers, only one smaller pair (M1's) are made in China. The 800's and the CM's have sounded great for some 25 or so years. Why are later products from B&W not made in Briton and why are they getting low ratings?

Very disappointed in Customer Service
And tell me where it says a speaker has 2 year life expectancy, after 2 Years and 32 days my Formation bar started crackling sounds and fading in and out sound.For $1300 one would expect durability. They said that my warranty expired and that they wanted my credit card for repair charges and $75 shipping which is what itCost me to ship to them. I purchased it in sept 2020 and the speaker went out approx Oct. 14 th 2022. My speaker was not abused it was mounted under my big screen and used totally for theatre viewing. Don't waste your money with any Formation line of speakers.I want to update my review after a week I was notified by B& W that they would honor my warranty and fixMy soundbar
