Durable Little Controller With Great Range and Precision
This compact PWM controller handles its full 1.8โ12โvolt range cleanly, giving smooth, predictable speed control to a 12โvolt fan without any stutter or dead spots. Installation is simple thanks to the clear terminals and small footprint, and the board feels sturdier than most budget options with solid solder joints and a responsive dial. Functionally it does exactly what you want โ stable output, wide adjustment range, and no noticeable heat buildup โ making it useful for fan tuning, small motors, or batteryโpowered projects where efficiency matters. A dependable little unit that performs well for the price.

WORKS GREAT and INEXPENSIVE!
FANTASTIC ITEM! Great price! Works perfectly as described. I needed something to make a 3V DC motor run at a slower speed. Unfortunately Iโm not well versed in electronics. I was going to ask someone on FB what to do. Then I thought of asking google AI what to use. It came up with this very controller. No instructions but super easy to install. The four terminals are clearly marked: Motor plus and minus, and Power source plus and minus. Your wires are screwed in with tiny screws and held firmly. Canโt be any easier! Itโs small and doesnโt take up much room, and the control knob clicks when put turned off and on. Thereโs a pilot light showing when itโs on. Two for $7 with free Prime shipping! You canโt beat this!

Small hobby motor regulator.
Great little voltage regulator to slow down the speed of some of the hobby motors out there.

Hmm suspicious
I installed this on leds strip white lights. Everything I have done is correct, as in power from battery ---->to the fuse----> to the on/off switch and finally to this voltage step down or up. The lights lights up and dim down...... but with NO power to it and deactivating the on/off switch, somehow it still sends power to the lights. If i turn up the voltage when switch is OFF it finally shuts down like it should. Its a mystery

Surprisingly Good
I used them for LED lighting. A lot of the various brands will flicker, very annoyingly and I bought these to replace some older ones, that flickered when new, like many do. So far, both are nice and steady, after a months use... I will update if they fail, but so far, this was a good purchase.

So nice to be able to control the fan speed!
I had a couple of small (4") 12v fans that I purchased for our RV, but they were single speed, and that speed was very high. These were just the ticket. They are small enough that I was actually able to get them tucked inside the fan's base housing, and wiring them was simple with the screw-clamps. The variable speed is excellent - I can slow the fans down to very slow, and all the way up to very high - smoothly.

Great value
Perfect for computer fan.

Electrically good, structurally off
Electrically, the two I received worked just fine. I'm using one to control a small fluid pump, the other for a blower motor in a small filtration system. They perform well enough. The fluid pump runs 15-20 hour duty cycles at 3.3-6V and about 1-1.5 amps. The blower pulls less. Neither has had a problem with the controller. My only negative issue is in the quality of the assembly on the PCB itself. Neither knob was mounted level to the board, which made the knobs sit cockeyed compared to the face of the control panel. I had to remove and resolder both, so, minus two stars for the added sweat equity.

Just OK
The speed control doesn't consistently work between the 2 I was given. The knob didn't fit tight and falls off.

Good
One worked good the other didn't work at all
