It is a slight bit gold, it’s definitely not a bright true Gold but it still coordinates well with our other gold closet fixtures. It’s like an old gold color.Sturdier than I expected. I have back problems that affect my balance at times and when this is open even on my carpet with a faux fur rug on top of it I still feel completely safe.Buy it!!

Step stool is totally fine! It’s just not white. It’s silver. Not a big deal unless you were trying to match it with a room or closet. As long as you don’t care about the color, everything else about it is perfect.

Works great for entry to our truck camper. It’s the perfect shape and height and is lightweight to carry.

Very nice looking and easy to handle my only complain is I wish the steps were a little bit bigger I feel I have to step up side ways to feel more secure

This design allow easy entry into our truck camper. The three step around 30 inchesallows for door opening and with the wide steps makes it easy and safe to use.It is easily cleaned to like new condition with a squirt of a water hose...[njy]

We needed something that folded super flat and this little guy does that. As importantly, it's VERY stable and strong. I weigh 180lb/82k/13st, and I feel completely confident standing on it — I'm certain it could hold over 200lb/91kg/14st. It has solid feet that won't slip, and the traction on the stairs is good in shoes, house shoes, or bare feet. It's also very lightweight so if you're injured or unaccustomed to carrying/moving something like this, it shouldn't be an issue to you. I'm pretty sure a kid could carry this around, no problem. ONE WARNING: BE CAREFUL OF YOUR FINGERS. If you have your fingers wrapped around the top step and you open it quickly, you're gonna smash your fingertips and it's gonna hurt. Open it up slowly the first time so you can see what I mean — you're gonna save yourself some ice packs and groans. My only disappointment was that it had a few little nicks in the finish, like maybe it got banged a little bit before packaging. It was small cosmetic stuff, nothing structural, not even enough to bother contacting the mfr; but for 70 bucks it really should be perfect, and that's why my review is 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, aesthetically it's very nice: clean lines and no extraneous bits hanging off of it. I recommend it — it can be easily hidden away and easily brought out when necessary. Perfect for getting into those ceiling-height cabinets.
