I think there's a defect in mine
The media could not be loaded. I would give more stars, but the thing is, the axis in where the camera/phone/action cam is mounted to isn't straight. Like when I try balancing my Iphone 10s Max, it doesn't want to. The bottom leans forward. The video explains and shows what i'm talking about. If I could get this issue resolved I will give a Higher Rating because You guys deserve it.

Zhiyun Design Limitation
If used with a compatible DSLR I think this would be good value for money. I wanted to use it with a mobile phone, which it's not well suited to. So why didn't I buy the SmoothQ instead, which is designed for mobile phones? Because the SmoothQ does not allow use of wireless lav mics in landscape format. Deal breaker right there. After not much time I returned the M2S and bought a DJI Osmo Mobile 6, which is made for mobile phones AND accommodates a wireless lav mic receiver. I won't compare this with the M2S, because apples and oranges. It's possible to use the M2S with a mobile phone, but given the fiddly process of balancing it during setup you're probably better off just holding the mobile in a steady hand. The Crane M2S will set up okay with a mobile phone (iphone 13), but the process requires a lot of patience and custom fine-tuning. The software that comes with the M2S does not work for mobile phones, so you only have the mobile phone video software to work with. For some shots that's going to be what you want, but not all the time. It's going to be the same with an action cam. There are several better options for less money if you're thinking of a gimbal for a mobile phone or action cam.If I had to suggest a change to the M2S, I'd say put more weight in the hand piece.

It will hold a full frame camera!!
The media could not be loaded. Despite the Sony A7iv not being listed as supported camera, i knew that its weight (658g) coupled with the 20mm f1.8 (373g), would be close enough to where it might be worth trying. After a bit of tricky balancing: it does hold, although the stability of my heavier setup is not perfect.Pros: extremely lightweight, holds my full frame camera and prime, battery life is more than enough for a wedding day, and it can go underhand for low shots.Cons: more “plastic-y” than other gimbals out there. Not sure if it will hold up to being tossed around with other gear. The bag it comes with is… Not very practical or professional looking, so i won’t use it. Camera connectivity seems to be hit or miss.Overall, it’s worth the $350 for me as a wedding videographer, but it may not suit everyone. My needs are pretty basic and just need it for wide shots of reception spaces, ceremony sites, video portraits, etc. If you have a larger setup like me, but need more mobility and power to handle some action shots, you may need to look elsewhere.

It falls asleep during use and overheats
I purchased this to film real estate videos. I was filming for about 45 minutes (on a full charge) when the gimbal fell asleep. This happened as I was filming an agent talking, which was frustrating. I turned it back on but then it kept falling asleep after every 5-10 minutes of filming. The second issue is it overheats. There's a metal part on the side where you can screw in additional equipment and this area got so hot that it burned my finger.

So-so gimbal
I purchased this gimbal as a replacement for my Weebil-S. Mistake on my part. While this does have some better features such as button placement (which are lousy on the Weebil-S), it just doesn't do the trick for me. Had problems with a Sony A6400 in getting it balanced. Also, the camera would consistently hit the bottom bar when rotating. Decided against keeping it.

goood ~~~
The media could not be loaded. I have a weebill and bought it as I wanted to add another gimbal for event shootings. Portability is great and I'm only carrying this recently unlike my first plan. This also is a good gimbal for beginners as it also works with phones.
