I have used these boxes for over a year and have never had issues with leaking. I use a natural barley litter. These boxes are easy to assemble. I like to scoop out the waste several times a day ( that is just the negotiations agreement that I have with my cat Marlene Mae) . I change out the box every month. When changing the box I just fold the sides in with the little still inside and the whole thing fits in a plastic trash bag. I am very happy with this system and so is Marlene Mae; the box is big enough to accommodate her large butt and sturdy enough to standup to her scratching the inside of the box. This is a good product.

Overall I recommend these, and I appreciate the convenience and large size!! I also love that you have the option to use an extra box as a lid on top, since my cats like enclosed litter boxes.Cons:1. My boy cat pees high up, and unfortunately if the pee hits the back of the box on top, the back of the boxes line up in a way that often results in the pee dripping onto the ground behind the box instead of back into the box. If there was a way to make sure the top lid is nested inside the bottom box at all times this issue could be resolved.2. The handles that are cut into the boxes are unnecessary to me. I personally do not use them, as the only times I'm moving the box are when they're new and empty, or when I'm throwing them away. But sometimes when my cats use the box they will pull down the handles from the top box, and it gets in their way when they are using the box. I may start taping the handles down so that this doesn't occur. Maybe the handles are nice for other people's purposes, but I personally don't like them.I hope they address these issues. Overall I am happy with them and will continue to buy despite their flaws.

I've used a variation of cat's desire disposable litter box for years now and you couldn't talk me into going back to a plastic litter box for nothing! I am awful about remembering to scoop the litter box and most times by the time I get around to it, It's disgusting! I just chuck the whole thing in the trash and start over with a new box. These boxes will last you a month, or maybe longer if you're better than me at remembering to scoop. Use good litter. By good litter i mean Dr. Elsie's or World's Best Litter. Some brand that clumps. I've never used any of those silicone type litters in this box that allows the pee to run right through, but I don't think they would work very well with this box. They have a coating on the inside that prevents the pee from soaking through the bottom but use common sense -you have to scoop every once in awhile or otherwise pee soaked litter is definitely going to soak through the bottom. They've made some upgrades over the years which I have highly appreciated. The best one is that making an opening at the front of the box is optional. My cats love to kick litter everywhere and this really cuts down on that happening.

I have never left a review for anything before but I need people to know how much I love this!!! I have two rabbits and before getting this, their litter was a nightmare to clean. It gets super stinky if you leave it too long but then with plastic litter boxes, it’s hard to get it completely clean and also not get it all over you in the process…ew. Plus my bunnies used to chew on the plastic ones which had me worried about them! But this literally solved all my problems. It takes five minutes to clean because I just throw the whole thing out which helps me clean it more frequently without being worried about the mess! Plus I don’t have to worry about them chewing on ur because it’s cardboard. It’s super easy to set up. I took the recommendation from another review about doubling them up which works great, and I’ll be buying a mat underneath to help with leakage. I find it only leaks if I don’t replace it fast enough, I would say I do about every week and a half. It’s also big enough so both my rabbits fit in at the same time! I highly recommend for rabbit parents who have a hard time dealing with plastic litter boxes, this has saved me so much stress (and smell!)

I have a single cat and use clumping litter, so these boxes last me 4-5 weeks before I replace them, more because the litter needs refreshing than any issue with the box.

Make sure you really read the description, because this was a big waste of money. Ordered this for going out of town so the pet sitter wouldn't have to clean boxes. Thought it was 3 boxes...nope! By "3 piece" they mean it comes with a lid, a base and the box. Such a waste and absurdly expensive. $22 for one complete box. How is this economical for anyone? You might as well order paper towel and toliet paper from Amazon, save the big boxes those come in, punch a hole in the top and now you have the same thing. Will not be buying again.
