I was originally disappointed when I assembled our lights and they did not work. HOWEVER, you must use the remote to enable this feature.The lights are beautiful and the remote works very easy and I love the idea of being able to change colors.They are beautiful in our backyard.

1) Battery is not powerful enough2) The color setting goes to default (yellow) when the battery runs out3) I had one device fail after 30 days4) It's beautiful when it works and you have the colors set to your liking (but you'll have to re-set it on the following day)

Loved the multi-color function with remote. Use them in my back patio.

Each night my lights come on at sundown and then turn off sometime before dawn (I am not awake to see them turn off!) I have taken the remote to change the colors on multiple occasions. I go to sleep with them purple and then the next night they always go back to the same orange color. Very annoying.

I buy a lot of outdoor solar lights and most of them are only average, but these lights are bright and multi-colored.They may be a little more expensive but they work good.
