Q: What is the difference between cotton and bamboo?

Both cotton and bamboo are great, soft fabrics for bellybands, but bamboo is the softer of the fabrics, feeling more like silk. Bamboo is also superior at wicking, so people who sweat more tend to prefer bamboo. Finally bamboo wrinkles less than cotton. This doesn't take anything away from cotton, which does a great job as a layering garment, and most people really love, but others think that for a few more dollars bamboo is the way to go.

Q: I’m 195 pounds, almost 16 weeks with a smaller waste and large hips should i do a l or xl?

For smaller waists we recommend large for pre-pregnancy sizes 14-20 and XL for pre-pregnancy sizes 20-22. That's, of course, a general guideline. Some people prefer snugger and some looser, so personal preference does come into play. Thanks for asking, Dara

I bought a M - I’m 5’9 starting weight was 160, size 6-8, and am pretty sure I’ll be able to wear this throughout the pregnancy no problem
