Love this stuff
I absolutely love this stuff. I use it on my pool tiles, my tub and shower surrounds and my glass shower doors. It eats away the calcium build up without damaging the surfaces. I am so happy I found this product.

It's not magic, but it does work.
I used a heavy duty spray bottle (purchased at Home Depot) to spray this stuff on the calcium deposits on my pool tiles. It required 4 or 5 applications before the calcium deposits on the tiles really started to "sluff away". I used a small stiff nylon brush after the 5th application to clean the tiles and get most of the calcium off. Compared with my previous tile cleaning approach (using a pumice stone to scrape and scrape and scrape), this was much less work and the results with this Guardian Pool and Tile Cleaner are very satisfactory.

Not Effective!
I tried and followed directions, watched videos, read reviews, and this product DOES NOT work. My pool tiles have a build up of calcium after having it professionally cleaned 2 years ago. I thought this product would work and save me money, but instead I lost money and a lot of my time hoping this product would work. Tried multiple times as suggested and calcium never disappeared or got better. Very sad!

Very Good Product
Very easy to use, works as advertised. Used it on my fountain that had quite a bit of calcium buildup, used in combo with a stiff brush and very easily removed the buildup. A lot easier than using a pumice stone, ordered another gallon for my monthly cleanup.

Much more work than implied
This product worked ok but much harder work than the product claimed.

Takes a little elbow grease but it does work
Have a pool in Arizona and the water is very, very hard. Had pool redone three years ago and wirh my work schedule got lazy about keeping the calcium off the top tule band. Have since retired and decide time to take care of that calcium. It was baked on so thick and hard a razor scraper wouldn't cut through. Tried this stuff and was happy. Does take a little work if it is as bad as I had. I first scrubbed the calcium with a scotch bright pad then applied with a spray bottle. Let sit for a few hours then used a scrapper to get the first layer. Applied again waited a few hours and because my tile is slightly textured used a hand held stainless wire brush was looking good but still had a bit more. One more application waited few hours then took cordless drill with a brass wire cup brush and looks fantastic.

It Actually Works
I’m in AZ with very hard calcium laced water. I have a pool with 14 year old tile that has never been cleaned/descaled and I hate that white line! I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by this product. It does work. Is my tile 100% perfect and clean? No. But this product did remove calcium build up as described. It will need multiple applications to get it as clean as I want but that is okay. This is the first product that I have tried that actually works. I think that I will use it in conjunction with my other method - a 75% acid to water ratio in a spray bottle, a green scotch scrub pad, and a power washer.
