A few weeks ago, Mpow read one of my reviews on Amazon about my disappointment on their Bluetooth Receiver and reached out to me to resolve the issue. To resolve the issue they offered to send me out another product to replace my Bluetooth Receiver. They gave me three great options to choose from. After some research I ended up going with the Mpow Bluetooth Receiver, Hands-Free Car Kit / Bluetooth Audio Music Receiver with Dual USB Car Charger & Ground Loop Noise Isolator for Car Audio System.First off I have to say Mpow is a great company and a great customer service staff. I have a lot of respect for the company and a fan of the company as long as they keep putting out great products and have a great support staff.As to the Mpow Bluetooth Receiver, Hands-Free Car Kit / Bluetooth Audio Music Receiver with Dual USB Car Charger & Ground Loop Noise Isolator for Car Audio System, I have to say this is a great package deal. It works great and everything in the package is made well.One of my complaints about the Mpow Bluetooth Receiver I originally purchased had a noise issue when charging the device and caused an echo when using speaker phone to talk with people.This noise issue is a common issue with many cars (I never had this issue with other Bluetooth Receivers). But with the noise isolator it resolved the issue!As to the operation of the device I did have some issues connecting an iphone 4 (for playing music only) and LG G4 or any other second device at the same time. The instructions are straight forward and should be easy to connect. For my devices I can get either phone to automatically connect when powering up the device. But if the second device isn’t ready to connect it may not connect even if you manually search and connect. I ended up powering down the receiver and auto connect the first phone to the receiver and then manually connect the second one. I found that if I waited more than a minute to connect the second device, it may not connect until I power down the receiver and try again.At other times both phones would connect at the same time. I haven’t figured out why this is. I don’t think the second handset is suppose to auto connect. But it should connect anytime I want it to. Also make sure your devices aren’t playing music when connecting both. This can cause the devices not to connect.When it comes to connecting both devices, music can play on one device and when the second device receives a call or Google Maps start talking the music pauses and will start up once the other device is quiet.Overall, I like the Hands free Kit and works great for my needs. I’ve been looking for a Bluetooth hands free kit for my car and this isn’t exactly what I wanted but I am glad Mpow sent me this product. Listening to music, audio books, podcasts, and talking/listening on the phone works great. The audio is loud and crisp and the other person can hear me clearly even if I turn my head away from the microphone.What I don’t like, is all the wires. But the wires are long enough that you can hide the wires or tie them up out of the way. Also the USB charger isn’t a quick charger or have the safety features of products by Anker, RAVPower, or Blitzwolf. But the receiver does require a basic power source to power it. The quick chargers can damage the receiver.Because the receiver requires a basic power source, Mpow has included a 1a/2a dual charger. The charger is made well and looks good. It charges my devices quick enough. But because it not a quick a charger and the receiver requires a constant power source, I loose one of my outlets. On long road trips, I have variety things plugged in using USB ports and regular car outlets.**Edit 05/17/2018**Earlier today, The unit stopped powering up. Its not even a year old. The issue may be the power cable. The cable is very then and may failed due to to many bends. I have to drop the rating to 1 star because it couldn't even last year and almost never left my car.

So lately most bluetooth adapters are heading to the wireless route that have some sort of internal lithium battery that lasts 1-2 weeks. If you've ever wondered why anyone would use a bluetooth adapter that requires usb power, I have the answer.So for those who own a Honda product, you know that the "cigarette" ports aren't always powered (for example when the car is off). When you use this bluetooth adapter with this kind of ignition on power source, the bluetooth automatically comes on and will automatically sync with your phone. At least in my case it did (android device).There are quite a few options out there that are similar to this MPOW bluetooth adapter but this one is by far the best bang for your buck. Not only does it automatically power up and sync, but it also comes with a female to female adapter, has a magnetic mount, and has a long enough cable you'll be able to mount it anywhere you want.I would highly suggest this bluetooth adapter if you have any car that doesnt have power to the outlets when the car is off. For the other "wireless" bluetooth adapters, they never know when you turn the car on so you always have to power it up. That can be kind of annoying. It's the small things that make life easier and I really appreciate the fact that this unit powers up and syncs when the car is started.

I can say that it does work. Connects fine and the sound comes through. But with little to no bass at all it sounds like you are listening to tweeters in a hollow can. Seriously, where are the mids and lows? Just sounds bad. This might be good for audio books, but just doesn't cut it for anything from a wide range of styles of music - like classical, rock, r&b, etc. Just sounds awful. Why would they sell something like this? Complete waste of money.I read other reviews about a powered one that produces good mids/lows, but requires a battery. That is what having 12V from the car is for no?

I bought this brand because it’s the same brand as my wireless neck band headphones that I’ve had no problem with and that’s stayed true with this adapter piece I use in my truck, wired it all behind my dash and haven’t had a single problem with it. I do wish my phone automatically connected when I got in, instead of having to go manually select the connection from my phone but it’s a super minor detail. Definitely going to continue with this brand in the future 😊

The unit I purchased for my daughter she plugs straight into the audio input of her car radio and it works great!. The unit I purchased I use a cable with a mini jack on one end and RCA plugs on the other from the sound isolater to the DVD player of my car to utilize the speakers. I've tried multiple plugs but for some reason there is a phasing problem and the sound quality is terrible. If I slightly unplug the mini jack it will work but I don't get the full stereo effect. The phone sync and voice quality are very good. Wish I could listen to music from my phone.

Not a customer, but I just had to stop and praise this product for including a ground loop noise isolator in this item. It's invaluable to so many people that it's not even funny... I've spent 3 times the purchase price of this item just to get proper ground loop isolator AUX cable...

This receiver pairs easily, connects every single time you get in the car. It has a great, easy to use interface and actually provides callers with good sounding speakerphone audio.I will say that just about every one of these guys' products are great.I highly recommend this one.
