I'm allergic to all kinds of man-made sweeteners, so 100 % chocolate is important. There are some fine products. This one tops them all. Astounding for its pure chocolate power, akin to sweet, robust and rich. It has made COVID-19 sequestration worthwhile, since this product entered my life during the virus lockdown.I almost regret sharing this information with you. You'll tell all your friends about Montezuma Absolute Black Dark Chocolate, and none of us will be able to get enough of it. But if we love other people and love to listen to their stories, we should share the best music, the best movies and books, our best recipes for a lovely life. This chocolate is as good as music, movies, books and recipes get.Just my opinion.

Mfg. in the UK, the latest seller on Amazon takes a month to ship it. It used to be easily and widely available, but no more. Best rated by ConsumerLab for low cadmium. Terrific taste and texture.

The best before date had expired prior to shipping. Tastes ok but c'mon that's rediculous.

I love dark chocolate and I expected it to have a better stronger bitter taste. However the taste was lighter and milder. I expected the addition of orange to it taste better but instead it was a weird, disgusting flavor.I like that it doesn't have any added sugars, which is great because people like "chocolate" but they are actually just tasting the sugar and not the actual chocolate.Thus, if you like dark chocolate, this 100% is prepared in such a way that the chocolate bitter taste is lost.

This is a very good bar of unsweetened chocolate. The taste is quite bitter but I like it. There’s nothing else in it so no worries about chemicals, Alkali or any other added ingredients. It’s a bit pricey but worth it for the taste. You don’t need much, it also gives you energy and you can parried up with any nut butters of your choosing.

This is the highest quality chocolate I've ever tasted, and I've been a fan of pure chocolate and cocoa nibs for the last 15 years. My sister-in-law gave me a bar last month when I visited her in Austin and I've been looking everywhere for it. Who knew that I could just Google it and get it on Amazon!?! I'm 60-yo, not very computer savvy, and this is the first review I've ever written, so that gives you an idea how much I LOVED this chocolate. A naturally sweet and nutty taste with no bitterness; just lovely.

I'm always looking for 100% chocolate or ones close to that with minimal sugar so I gave this one a shot. The ones with the most cocoa butter in them seem to be the ones I like the most. This one is not one of those. It's very dense chocolate and takes a while in your mouth to melt. The taste is more like bakers chocolate not something that wowed me but it was OK. There are so many different dark chocolate bars out there that I'm not sure this one is worth buying again. Overall this is an option if you want 100% dark chocolate and the price was within reason.
