Repels water and the brick looks brighter almost a wet look. Easy to apply with sprayer.

Product is very good . The sprayer was junk .

I applied these to my external brick stair case after finding black mold form in my closet behind it. I simply used a spray bottle by hand. It worked great, easy to apply. After having this applied, whenever it rains, I compare my stairs to my neighbor and I definitely notice my brick stairs absorb less moisture from rain. The hardest part was the prep work, to remove all the algae and scum off the bricks and stair steps before applying. I didn't have a power washer, and did most of it with a brush attached to a drill.

It is an OK product. Results not very satisfactory. Hard to tell the effects after only a year.
