The slim does a great job at picking up dust
The slim does a great job at picking up dust, debris, pet hair etc. and is very quiet. However, it's slim height, which is the reason I purchased this model, ended up being a big problem. It was low enough to get under couches but then it would constantly get stuck and not be able to get back out. It seemed to always be getting stuck and needed help every few minutes... which defeats the purpose of this type of item. I exchanged it for the Deebot 79 which is by far a much better product. It never gets stuck and seems to have a more methodical pattern to its cleaning. While the slim picked up everything in it's path, the amount of babysitting it needed was unreal. Save yourself the trouble and get the N79 instead.**ECOVACS sent me another slim to test out and it was a better version than the original one I received. It also worked better in a wide open house than in a smaller apartment setting. However, I still stand by my review that the 79 is a better choice for me.

Only for very specific rooms
This is my second robot vacuum and I have learned a few things from having this one. First, the slim model gets stuck on nearly everything and if you have dark furniture it will just bump into everything as well. The lack of an auto mapping feature really was what I didn't like. The Bot does not learn the room but just bumps into everything and it is really annoying when it tries to find home. I found myself wanting to see how far I could throw it.The positives are that it did vacuum well for hardwood floors like it is marketed and it is quit since there is not a moving brush. It was easy to setup and program from the app.So really depending on your application and room layouts just be informed on this model. I am most likely not going to look at any models that don't offer auto-mapping feature or remember a room.

Didn’t even last 2 months
I am very disappointed with this debot. I got it 2 months ago. It worked okay at first. It never could dock itself but at least it moved ok. Within 2 weeks I noticed that it would just stop on carpet and continue to run in place. I have low pile carpet so not sure why it could not get traction. So, I then tried to keep it on the hardwood and it now stalls on that. I turned it over to discover that the elastic treads on the feet have almost completely come off! So, there is now no traction on any surface. Also, please note that this vac gets stuck on any rug or floor transition that you have. So I was constantly going and moving it. Very disappointing.

Worth the money for your first robot vacuum!
I love this little guy! I got him on Black Friday for $140 because I really did not want to spend another $150 for an entry level iRoomba with bad ratings. This guy bumps into like everything (kinda hilarious) but it can sense stairs which is good. It easily rolls over wires without ruining them. The fact this vacuum has two sweeper blades (vs 1 I saw on my friend's iRoomba) to push everything into the vacuum is awesome, and you can easily take off the sweepers after each use, get rid of the hair and put them back on (per manufacturer replace sweepers every 3-6 months and it comes with an extra set so you're good for awhile). The vacuum itself picks up so much dust and pretty much everything that is on your floor! I amazed each time I remove the chamber/filters to empty it (usually after each use). Overall, I am impressed with this product as an everyday maintenance helper around my home and I hope if I ever have a problem, I can easily call the company and get it straightened out.

Works well so far. I never thought these tiny menee devices can vacuum well. So, entered with a cheap device after a long hesitation. It has exceeded my expectations. It's collecting lots of dust, lint and hair. I can feel the clean floors with bare ft. Next one will be vacuuming + mopping device. It has hard time finding the charging station by itself though. Some times it works, sometimes it doesn't. Another note. Don't watch it while it is cleaning. Just give it time and let do its job. You will get frustrated it's not cleaning the spot you want it to clean. It will do eventually. Also, make sure there are no cables or rugs on the floor. It gets tangled up. So, first few runs, make sure you are home while it is doing its job. It will beep and call you if it gets stuck.

Decent, while it lasted
It's a great alternative to sweeping all the time with a dog in the house. I still have to clean the floors for a deeper clean, but it cuts down on the effort a good bit. Unfortunately, it lasted less than a year of moderate use... it was set to run 2-3 times per week in a specific living/dining area of my house (about 700sf maybe)After a few months, it started dying in the middle of the floor - not a huge deal as long as it was on the way back to the charger when it died. More often, I'd find it dead in the middle of the floor or in a corner somewhere with most of the floor clearly not cleaned yet. I think the battery just wasn't holding a charge long enough to do the whole room. For months now, it won't acknowledge the charger or come on at all...I've tried all the troubleshooting, but I give up. That's why I'm finally posting a review - decent, but it has a short lifespan. For the money, I guess it's okay, but I wouldn't buy another knowing it would only last a year.
