My third multi-cut. My wife uses 2nd one in the garden.
Great, versatile tool. Product pix need to show that its sturdy blade is set perpendicularly to the anvil – Important for tough cuts. Craftsman version I once saw had thinner, flexible blade (like a utility knife blade), angled not perpendicular. First multi-cut tool I owned had a sintered tool body which snapped in two after a couple of years. This one has solid cast handle, as well as I can tell. Stores extra blades in the handle, not in a package in the tool chest.

Cut that Chore List Like Butter
Like butter. I have been putting a lot of chores off, so when it arrived, I went straight to work.First, I cut some stray branchesencroaching my property from a neighbor's tree. It made fast work of very woody branches. About 3/4 circumference. If you need more strength, move your hand down the handle, away from the blade. That's important to know for it to work at its best. After that, I pruned/cut some late autumn roses from a mature bush. Beautifully easy. They were on the table so fast I had time to prep holiday decorations. For that task I had to cut wire with a circumference a little smaller than a ball point pen. Fantastic. In the end, I cut up cardboard boxes. It is important to know that its best to move the bottom flat piece all the back and then, remember this, lock the tool close. If the tool is open it will be clunky and won't cut. You will have a bad experience. But when you lock it closed in order to use it like a box cutter, it works like a box cutter.I had a productive day and looking forward to more. I really want a belt for this because I want to carry it with me as EDC. Really happy about this purchase.

Great tool for hoses
Great tool for hoses. You can use this tool like a utility knife but it does not work as good as a utility knife. Best for hoses and things like that cutting wires will dull the blades. I have a tool exactly like this one for years from Craftsman and really just needed new blades for my Craftsman tool. Craftsman wanted $11 for blades and this hole tool with blades was $15. So I got a new tool and put one of the extra blades in my Craftsman Cutting Tool and have one tool for work and one for home.

Simple cutting tool for simple tasks!
I bought these cutters for cutting plastic and rubber tubing for semi truck airlines. They cut that stuff like butter. Many reviews complain about the damage cuttingsteal or copper wire does to the razor blade. If they are only read the instructions they would’ve realized that the razor blade is not intended to cut wire no razor blade will do that. It seems to me many of the negative reviews simply asked too much from the cutter. Every tool has design parameters and will fail if used outside these parameters. For simple light duty cutting tasks of most plastics I find the tool very effective. For pruning green heavy vegetation consider some heavier pruning shears a razor blade is not up for that task either. Like most things on TV the ads for this trimmer may have been a bit exaggerated. Keep light duty in mind and you’ll find dozens of uses for them. They haven’t a let me down yet. But then again I haven’t used them to break anyone out jail or cut the tree down in my front yard.

Liked it so much I bought 2 so I could have one at work!
The multi-cutters are a dream for cutting non-metal. Rope, hose, webbing, leather... you name it. When it comes to cutting wire however, make sure you have a pair of wire cutters. That includes wire-reinforced tubing. My only complaint is that it is a pain to get extra blades. They have to be special ordered and as yet Amazon does not carry them. Other than that, if you have stuff that scissors run from in fear or, like me, can't cut a garden hose straight across without help, this will do the trick!

Quality, precision cutting instrument that works as advertised.
I used the 3 in 1 cutting tool to cut electrical wire and I had to work on drip hose. Cut both with ease! The drip hose was cut so easily. Just as advertised! I've used the razor blade as a knife to open packages ordered in the mail! Thanx.

Buyer Beware: Made in China and no replacement blades to be found
Try going to their website: multicuttips dot comm and you will see that the website domain is up for sale and they no longer sell the replacement blades. That being said: the blades break very easily unless you make perfect straight-down cuts. I can't find anyone who sells the blades but I'm not giving up just yet. My recommendation is to steer clear of this product because the blades break and the company is so shady that they can't even stay in business to provide replacement blades.

Best tool to cut rope that exists.
Great tool. When used properly. It is not for wire, however for rubber, plastic, rope, etc. it is the best most handy tool I’ve used.

Good stuff
These are really useful for plastic and wooden mouldings, they are worth the extra money because the cheaper ones have a plastic anvil which wears out quicker.
