Probably the most genuinely fun and interesting superhero origin story that I've read in years. You can tell this book is extremely well researched and written with a ton of heart. It's humorous and full of action, the main character really develops throughout his story and learns from his experiences. This is basically Superboy no Academia and I love every page of it.

A fun starting point
This is a light hearted, at times melodramatic Superman story that laughs easy and doesn’t take its self too seriously. I found many of the plot points odd at first but it all comes together well.

Definitely not Superman
Growing up, I was never a Superman-kinda kid. I loved Batman, I loved the X-Men and Spider-Man, but Superman was one character I just could never get into. When I stumbled upon the kickoff of the DC Rebirth event, I decided to jump in. It was the first time in maybe twenty years that I had decided to grab a handful of comics and really dive into these characters. Batman, Green Arrow, Green Lanterns, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Suicide Squad, and this were my main pulls, as I found the idea of shaking up Superman's story may be a great introduction. The first few panels sold me. The idea that our protagonist was not a weak target, but instead a bully, was intriguing to me. Here was a character that wasn't Superman, who couldn't be Superman. But as the run progressed, and I saw the changes in our hero, it was... Refreshing. He isn't "good" nor is he level-headed. He is human, which is something we know Clark Kent is not.Various runs were dropped, some were stuck with for the long run, but in the end New Super-Man is one that I have stuck with over the past year, excited for each and every issue. It's not for everyone, but I will say that it is one of the most easily recommended runs for Rebirth.

Not in mint condition
Though it says new, the cover was all scratched up. Had to get my kid’s approval else it would have been returned

Great book
Love the new take on the character. Did not have a problem with the eastern mythology since I grew up on Kung fu series. Fresh

Tremendously good
This is the kind of media that Asian and Chinese -Americans need more of. It does not attempt to portray China according to negative sterotypes but as a place with complex people who are unique individuals. The plot was intriguing. I would have prefered a more uniquely Chinese look of the characters as in the variant covers, but I understand possible reasons for not doing so.

Good
Kon is a bit rough, but improves.

Refreshing
This is quite good, As a Chinese American I get the references and they do a good job at skirting the boundaries of political commentary. Which do you prefer an democracy that denies climate change or a semi benevolent one party state that gets things done. I enjoyed the subtle digs at the US and Ccp.

Great book, quick delivery, good seller
Great book with solid art and the writer built out a wonderful new complex cast in China whilst still building on current dc characters. Enjoy seeing new superman show up in other superman books. Delivery was quick and book arrived in good condition.
