I originally purchased this item to secure my laptop on travel days. As a full-time RVer - securing my work laptop is important. The product works great. I selected a location and the adhesive is all I needed. Great product if you have a mobile office and need to secure your laptop. You will not be disappointed.

great for freeing up desk space. plus if you have a 360 display on your laptop you can flip in into tablet mode but just stick the keyboard part in.airflow and holes for cables are pretty good.

I ordered these brackets and another clear lucite alternative to see which I'd like better. While the lucite was prettier and less noticeable, the Brainwavz mounts were much sturdier (and less likely to crack or scratch). Be aware that if you have an older MacBook Pro, like I do, you will not be able to mount the laptop horizontally as a couple of the ports (including the lightning power connection) will be blocked by the bracket. To solve this, I mounted my laptop vertically with all the ports on top. This worked fine and the laptop is secure. Please note, It's a bit challenging to get the brackets exactly vertical. Even with a level and wall markings, you are at the mercy of your drilling skills. If the hole isn't absolutely on point and your anchors exactly aligned, your bracket will be slightly crooked. There is no play in the screw hole on the bracket to shift the bracket even a smidgeon. I recommend you make a fake laptop with paper to use as your guide. Tape that to the wall to see where exactly you want the laptop to be. Use a level. Then you can create another sheet of paper that represents the brackets. That's what I did and punctured starter holes right through the paper. Ultimately, it worked out well and I really like the laptop on the wall under my desk with the wiring hidden.

The adhesive is super strong. No need to use the screws and it holds my laptop no problem. Love it.

I had been brainstorming ideas of what to do with my laptop rather than just having it sit on my desk collecting dust while I was not using it. I came across this and decided to try it out. The adhesion works great. I've had them for multiple months now and have not had any issues with it yet.

I'm so happy with this product. It's giving me more desk top room while holding my notebook securely to the wall. Glad it works as advertised! Would recommend.

I expected to get an injection molded bracket for this cost, and was a little shocked to open it up and see layer lines. It's nice enough, and will do the job well, but this is terribly expensive for a 3D printed part.

I bought this expecting a professionally manufactured product, what I got was a couple of 3D printed parts. Doesn't even appear to be an appropriate resin either, just cheap old PLA. If I wanted a crap 3D print I could have done it myself for a 10th of the cost.Not amused.
