I was nervous about buying this since I read a few reviews saying it did not stay lit all night but I am so happy I got it. I attached it yesterday so it sat out most of the day in the sun. My area has a tree so it gets filtered sun in the morning but full sun for at least 4 hrs. When it started to get dark out, it went on, and I happened to wake up at 4am and looked out the window and it still looked just as bright as when it first came on.It really lights up the sign well, and you can see it great from the street without having to turn on your outside lights. We used to leave our lights on, but we had such a bad problem with spider webs that we have turned them off this summer, so this is a perfect solution. The light is a clean bright white light and is perfect for my ADT sign. I will enclose a photo so you can see what it looks like in the dark.When it came the clip was not attached. You have a choice between using an adhesive strip, screwing it directly to your sign or using the clip. You have to loosen a tiny screw on each side to pull out little tiny brackets on either side of the light and the bracket just snaps on. The bracket is not super easy to get on as you have to pry the plastic apart on each side and force it over the thick sign material of our ADT sign but it is nicely designed to fit with a space in the middle for the yard stake that sticks out on the top of the sign.The light was smaller than I expected which is good because it's super light weight and perfectly sized for the sign. Also the light is slightly angled down so that the light illuminates your sign directly.I love this little solar light and recommend it.Thanks for reading my reviewBecky Brooks

I am the Vice President of out Condo Association, and was tasked with finding a way to light our condo sign, which is darkly painted, and hard to see at night. The issue is, we don't have any power near the sign, and we are a small association, so finding a way to light the sign is difficult. We decided to go with solar lights, and I found these and gave them a try. They work excellent. They are not extremely bright, but they do the trick. They are super small, so hardly noticeable on our sign. In the past we had ground level spotlights that were stolen by hoodlums, and others were destroyed by snow plows, or covered with snow piles which rendered them useless. These fit nicely at the top of the sign, are barely visible, and for the price, they are well worth it! I recommend them if you only have a small sign to light. They don't throw much of a beam, so you will either need to buy more than one, or several. For our purposes, they work great!

Installed mine in a sunny south facing direction. It typically would be lit fot 4-6 hours. Then it just stopped working after 5 months. I cleaned it, made sure all the wires were connected and even replaced the battery, still would not light. Poor quality, would not recommend.

Sign light worked great for a few days, then bit the dust, not sure if it was the weather that got it or what since we had some torrential rains. I am sure amazon would probably take it back but not worth wasting my time on going to send it back.

I bought this two years ago, and it still works all night long on my unobstructed, South facing alarm sign. It has survived snow and rain in the California mountains at 6100 ft elevation. I'm ordering a second one today. Light is perfect for small applications, like an alarm sign. Alarm companies should supply this with their signs! I would definitely recommend this reasonably priced light.

Quality is not there. Maybe I have a defective one. Works for about 2-4 hours then goes out.Recently doesn't even come on. Once I flip it off then flip it back on the battery kicks in.Overall not worth the $15.

This light is really amazing. The directions clearly state to have full sunshine all day without obstruction of trees. I am "partially" obstructed and the device still works without issue. At night it seriously looks like the sign is fully illuminated. I can spot it from 50 ft. away..It's that bright

Just enough light to illuminate the sign. Time will tell how well they recharge during the day and hold up to the elements.Easy to install. Slide the clip on one side at a time. Once started, slide down in place.
